River Falls Car Wash

I have a very clean older black car with low miles and in super pristine condition. Used River falls for the 1st time today (even signed up for the monthly unlimited) and that car is damaged due to their equipment. I have picture of the car prior to the wash and after. I have multiple scratches to the finish on the driver's side mostly upon the roof - over a foot and a half long. Person who claimed to be the manager said it wasn't possible for their equipment to do that as it has circular brushes but the first section is all hanging strands which appear to have produced the damage. Go elsewhere if you value what you own. I'm deciding my options and canceling my service after I way them out.

Having moved one child out of state, another back to school and spending the weekend up north I anxiously waited to get my suburban washed and cleaned until I could have River Falls do it. My truck is never horribly dirty as I maintain it regularly. I was just tired, tight on time and wanted a good job - especially on the interior.

I have always had fabulous service in the past. Today, however, was not the case.

I purchased the Ultimate Service. Their best! It includes:
Exterior Wash
Clearcoat Sealant
Triple Foam Polish
Underbody Flush
Rain-X® Treatment
Simoniz Hot Wax and Shine
Blow Dry
Rim Clean and Tire Dressing
FULL Service Interior Cleaning

Its the latter that was the most disappointing. After a quick five minutes a young man told me by truck was done. Really?!? I actually said that and was told that they are very quick. Obviously.

I stopped at Quik Trip to look at my truck.

The crevices of the front doors were not vac'd or dusted. They had crumbs and dust in them.
The center console was not vac'd or dusted. The two side openings had some crumbs and dust as did the cell phone charging pad.
There were still finger prints on the dash and steering wheel buttons. Dust on the levers and steering column.
I got out, walked around and looked in the back. Yep - dust, some dirt and the back mat was never touched.

I was upset. $30.00 for their best service - which is what I expected.

I pulled back into their lot, talked to a young woman that identified herself as the manager. I pointed out what wasn't done and was told that if I want "special" service I have to specifically ask for it. I responded that in choosing their best service - for $30 - I shouldn't have to ask to have the doors, console and back vac'd and wiped. Her response, "Sweetie! We want you happy. You just have to ask for special services. Pull around and we'll take care of your special requests." I pulled around and left.

I am beyond disappointed in how their service level has drastically dropped and won't be back.

Review: River Falls Wash n Lube made an error by reporting wrong odometer reading to carfax. A mistake that apparently is a common one. When called River Falls Wash n Lube, they refused to fix it because "we don't have the time." We cannot sell our vehicle because carfax put a Odometer Rollback warning on our vehicle. This makes our vehicle worthless when trying to sell it (no one will touch this because of the warning, not even a dealership.) Carfax needs River Falls Wash n Lube to report their error in order for Carfax to fix the report. River Falls Wash n Lube is too busy to do that, but will talk to Carfax if Carfax calls them. Because they are too busy.Desired Settlement: Call Carfax and fix issue River Falls Wash n Lube created. And don't be lazy when this happens to another customer.

This complaint has already been resolved. I contacted Carfax on 10/22/13 and the error has been corrected.

DO NOT use this car wash, if you have a larger vehicle. I had an Avalanche that jumped the track. Another car bumped it due to the line not stopping. Today, the chain that pulls cars through the car wash broke. I was told that my Escalade "broke the chain" by the cashier. Customer service is lacking, and the wash itself is poor quality.
