I am responding to the complaint filed against River City Moving & Storage by Ms [redacted] Prior to this complaint, we have been dealing with an individual who stated that they were [redacted] , which we later found out there is no such personMs [redacted] filed a complaint against River City Moving with several agencies and, after each agency investigated the complaint, was upset that each agency decided their request was unreasonableOn the day of the move 12/7/13, we offered Ms [redacted] the option to purchase additional insurance instead of the standard coverage which is cents per pound per articleAt that time Ms [redacted] declined the full replacement coverageDuring the move there was a truck issues, and we kept “ [redacted] ” informed on the status of the shipmentWhen the move was completed, we noticed a table was damaged, and gave Ms [redacted] the information he needed to file a claimOnce the claim was processed we offered Ms [redacted] a settlement amount based on the level of coverage agreed upon prior to the moveShe declined the settlement, and requested $1,to replace the tableAt this time we are willing to settle this claim based on the level of coverage that was agreed upon before the move occurred River City Moving & Storage
I am rejecting this response because:
This response is a lie. This is the first and
only complaint I've ever filed against River City Moving & Storage. Yes, my
then fiance', ***, was trying to help me with contacting River City because I
have NEVER been contacted about my claim and the times I called, no one could
tell me anything except that I needed to call back later. My phone number is
clearly on the claim documentation and also on the original Bill of Lading.

against River City Moving with several agencies and, after each agency investigated the complaint, was upset that each agency decided their request was unreasonable. On the day of the move 12/7/13, we offered Ms. [redacted] the option to purchase additional insurance instead of the standard coverage which is .60 cents per pound per article. At that time Ms. [redacted] declined the full replacement coverage. During the move there was a truck issues, and we kept “[redacted]” informed on the status of the shipment. When the move was completed, we noticed a table was damaged, and gave Ms. [redacted] the information he needed to file a claim. Once the claim was processed we offered Ms. [redacted] a settlement amount based on the level of coverage agreed upon prior to the move. She declined the settlement, and requested $1,000.00 to replace the table. At this time we are willing to settle this claim based on the level of coverage that was agreed upon before the move occurred.
