Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID[redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. However, I had already sent the company a check for the balance, that was for $320. So, if they will send me my check back (I've already put a stop payment on it) and send me the refund check of $265, all will be satisfied. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. If the company does not perform as promised I can get back to you at: [redacted]

customer paid a $550 deposit for the work quoted at $870 which included the painting for $585. $285 of the initial proposed work was completed as expected (haul away of debris and items left in the home). The paint job was quoted at $585 so with that credited, River Bend can issue a check for $265.
Review: Hired this company several times when my property was managed by [redacted] (who just so happens to own this company as well). All was fine while I had [redacted] as property managers. However, I left that company for bad services but went with their repair people (Riverbend). Unbeknownst to me that they both have the same [redacted].
Anyhow, Riverbend was contracted by me to do several repairs to my home...hauling away debris, painting, and the cleaning of the home. After taking two weeks to get the first two done, I told them that I was going with someone else for cleaning the house. They also hadn't even finished the painting that they said they'd already started. I was told by [redacted] the painting would be finished up in two days. The two days passed and I was told everything was done. Unfortunately, I live across the country and had no way of checking up on the work. However, when my realtor went by to take pictures, he informed me that a good amount of the painting had not been done. I immediately called Riverbend, spoke again to [redacted] and told her that her techs did not do all of the work there. This company is absolutely horrible to deal with. If you're not there to look over the work that they are doing, they will do a bum job!!! I also immediately called my bank to try to stop payment on the last check that I sent them.Desired Settlement: refund for painting work that was not completed
