Review: I placed photographs at the [redacted] for restoration. I was told that the store would not close until the end of October 2012. I was present prior and the store closed. I wrote letters and e-mail with no response.Desired Settlement: Return of my property, the photographs.

Review: I somehow got onto their email list and receive their junk emails. These emails do not have an unsubscribe link. I have phoned them many times and spoke with a person who after at least 3 calls, assured me I was off their spam list. I continue to receive their emails, have phoned again multiple times and no one is answering the phone or returning calls.Desired Settlement: I want them to fix their email problem so other people can opt out of receiving junk mail. I would also like a personal contact to work this issue through until this matter is verified closed, then I never want to hear from them again.Thank you.

Review: paid for expanded warranty to replace damaged Nikon S52, serial #[redacted], expiration date 11/28/2013. when to Ritz Camera & Image store at [redacted] same location and name as on my warranty and where I purchased my camera and was told they would not honor this because store was bankrupt and new owners would not honer warranties.Desired Settlement: replacement of camera per warranty.

Review: I bought a [redacted] dSLR camera at Ritzcamera.com. The product indicated it was brand new and there was no indication it was a gray market product. I bought it for an upcoming specifically so I could take high quality images for an upcoming trip. Not only did the camera arrive broken and useless, I called [redacted] and they informed me it was a grey market product and they could would be able to honor the warranty, repair, or replace it. I'm not about to leave for my trip with a very expensive paper weight in my bag and no pictures. Furthermore, I have been unable to get in touch with Ritz for the last 24 hours.Desired Settlement: Immediate replacement, or barring that return. I'd also like Ritz to clearly indicate to consumers that their products are from the gray market and will not be covered by domestic warranties.

Review: The company I ordered from offered 2 business day delivery at a cost of $23.95. I paid the cost but my order was not even shipped for 2 business days. I didn't receive my order until 4 business days after placing it. Also, one of the items that I ordered, that shows in stock on my order conformation, was not delivered. When I talked to the companies customer service 2 business days after my order was placed I was informed that my order had shipped but there was no mention that one of my items was not. I received an email saying 6 days after my order was placed saying that the item is not in stock, even though the company's website is still showing it in stock. I only received the email after I called and emailed them to find out what was going on. I have tried numerous times today to contact their customer service with no answer.

Review: Dear Sir/Madam,

The narrative of the issue is as follows: On Sept 5, 2014, I ordered an [redacted] camera on RitzCamera.com, total of $949. On Sept 08, 2014, the order was shipped by [redacted]. However, on Sept 10, I found out that I ordered the wrong item. At that time, the item is still on route in the [redacted] delivery system. In order to cancel the order, I looked carefully on the website of RitzCamera, regarding order cancellation policy. It says:

"Cancel an order - Due to our commitment to process orders quickly, there is a short period of time in which you may cancel your order. You may choose to cancel your entire order or a portion of your order as long as the order has not yet been sent to our warehouse for fulfillment. Once the order has been sent to our warehouse for fulfillment, we can request cancellation, however, should your order/item(s) ship, simply REFUSE delivery, and when the merchandise is returned to us a refund will be initiated." Clearly, because my order was already shipped so it couldn't be cancelled directly by calling RitzCamera. But also clearly stated on the website, I can simply REFUSE the delivery, which serves the same as order cancellation.

I did exactly that - refused the shipment by [redacted], and the order was returned to the shipper (RitzCamera) without reaching my hand. I was expecting a full refund, just like any order cancellation at any other online stores. However, later I found on my credit card statement I was only refunded $854.10 on Sept 14, $95.90 short of what I paid. I called the customer service of RitzCamera today Sept 19, and was told by a very impolite CSR that this is because I was charged a restocking fee because this is NOT cancellation, this is return. No matter how I explained the policy on their website and also the standard practice of other online stores regarding similar situation, she refused to listen, and basically hung up the phone on me with attitude when I asked her name. This occured on Sept 19, 2014, around 12:30pm EST.

I want to complain on two issues: 1. RitzCamera.com is not adhereing to their order cancellation policy stated clearly on their website. They charged a hefty restocking fee for cancelled order in reality. 2. Their bad customer service. The CSR showed a disrepectful and disgraceful attitude from the first minute of our phone conversation, even before I stated anything about the issue.Desired Settlement: 1. full refund of the wrongly charged fee. 2. apology from the rude CSR.

Review: I placed an order 12/2/2013. Today is 12/10/2013. I STILL have not received any order information or shipping information from this company at all. I ordered a product for Christmas and I expected to have it by now or at least know that it is on its way. I their contacted "customer service" on 12/3 and I also emailed them. I received one response I was told I would have to wait and that I could not even cancel my order because it was being shipped from the manufacturer which made no sense to me. If the item hasn't shipped I should be able to be refunded. So I patiently waited 3 days later and began to contact them again I still have NO RESPONSES. This is the holidays and this is the worse experience I have ever had online shopping. It has been exactly 8 days now and I still don't know what the status of my order is and each time I CALL the CAMERA DEPARTMENT I get a voice mail. What type of unprofessional company is this??Desired Settlement: I want my ORDER CANCELED. I want my money refunded.
