I purchased a washer, dryer and refrigerator on Nov. 21 from Risen Appliance. The refrigerator works good. The washer had a lent kind of substance at the bottom and smelled like mildew. The dryer did not dry at all. I called the company the next day and was told that they would bring a different washer and fix the dryer on the following Monday. No one showed up. I have had numerous conversations with the lady at the front desk. She gave me the owners phone number. I called and left a message. No return phone call. I called again. I was told by the lady that she had a meeting with the owners on the Monday after Thanksgiving to give her a call back the following Monday after lunch. I called after lunch on Monday and was told that they would be coming out to replace the washer and dryer on that Wednesday. No one showed up. Called the business again the next day. I talked to the lady at the desk. She told me that the owner was there and was going to go get him. Then I was hung up on. They state they would fix or replace but will not talk to me about it. I don't even know if it would be even the same washer and dryer.

To whom it may concern,
In regards to the customer complaint we received. The lady that was working for us at the time is no longer with us, so all that I am able to provide you with is what I know from emails sent through the *** payment system and me speaking to our previous employee at the time.
Here at Risen Appliance we clean all our appliances prior to selling them, so unsure why it would smell and if it did he would have been able to notice that when he purchased the washer. Our policy is that if you take the appliances home out of town than it is their responsibility to bring them back for repair within the 30 warranty. We would never tell him that we would come there to fix them. The reason he was hung up on was because he was being verbally rude and wasn’t listening to our previous employee.
I do understand that things could have been handled better on our part but also his. We were more than happy to help him if he would have just brought the items back for repair per our policy.
