Review: Risdon's 76 gas staion, Carpinteria, Ca. 93013.Gas scam at the pump, pump charges too much.On 05-26-13 at 7:13:06pm I bought 87 octain gas on pump #5. The advertised price was $3.89 per gallon for 87 octain gas. However the pump rang up $4.09 per gallon, which was the mid grade fuel price for 89 octain. I brought this to the clerks attention and he said I must have selected midgrade. I know that I did not select mid grade, I selected the 87 octain which should have been $3.89 per gallon. The clerk refused a refund, did provide a receipt. I then checked on line yelp reviews and the owner is poorly talked about, therefor I did not call the owner today. Sounds like Revdex.com needs to get invovled.Thank you[redacted]Desired Settlement: Business owes me $1.65, which I am not overly worried about, but a scam like this (pump over charging customers) could be a huge money maker for the owner. Sounds like it needs investigating.
