Review: My issue with the Ripe Juice Bar is their policy on using a credit card for deliveries. The delivery man showed up w/our dinner and I was going to pay w/ my Visa credit card where I gave Ripe my credit card number over the phone along w/ my order. The delivery man came to the door w/ the standard receipt I’d normally use to pay for the meal, but then the delivery man started writing down my full 16 digit number, name and expiration date on a second blank piece of paper. When I asked why he was doing that he refused to give me a straight answer, but told me to call the manager at Ripe, [redacted]. [redacted] got on the phone and explained he does this for security purposes. I said there’s no reason for him to be writing my full credit card number on a separate piece of paper and I would show the delivery man a valid NJ drivers license. [redacted] refused to cooperate but wanted the full number anyway even when I pleaded with him to give me a straight answer. I said I was not comfortable with this policy and refused the food and sent it back. Despite not taking the food my credit card is still being charge the $26.64 despite not signing the receipt.Desired Settlement: Please refund my money ASAP.
