I am very displeased with Ringside Search Partners and their sneaky tactics to get a contact at a companyI have a profile on LinkedIn and can see that they have found my profileAwhile ago I received a call from them stating that they had an interested candidate for a position that was posted for my companyProblem was there was no such opening and had not been for a very long timeTo be polite, I called back and said that they were mistaken and that there was not an openingThis person then continued to call and ask for me repeatedly, trying to get me to call back just so they had a contactThen today, I received another call from a different recruiter at the company using the exact same tactic, but this time I'm not calling them back because this is just ridiculousThe odds are I'll receive another call later today or this week asking for me to call them back yet againRIngside - I do not appreciate these underhanded tacticsI understand if there is an opening posted elsewhere, but when you deliberately lie about an opening, that's not good business practice
I am very displeased with Ringside Search Partners and their sneaky tactics to get a contact at a company. I have a profile on LinkedIn and can see that they have found my profile.
Awhile ago I received a call from them stating that they had an interested candidate for a position that was posted for my company. Problem was there was no such opening and had not been for a very long time. To be polite, I called back and said that they were mistaken and that there was not an opening. This person then continued to call and ask for me repeatedly, trying to get me to call back just so they had a contact.
Then today, I received another call from a different recruiter at the company using the exact same tactic, but this time I'm not calling them back because this is just ridiculous. The odds are I'll receive another call later today or this week asking for me to call them back yet again.
RIngside - I do not appreciate these underhanded tactics. I understand if there is an opening posted elsewhere, but when you deliberately lie about an opening, that's not good business practice.
