I am rejecting this response because: regardless of the posted fees Rincon towing is taking full advantage of anyone they are towing by charging them an after hours release fee when they are obviously working after hours to tow vehicles. And they are in the office fielding calls. In addition your own tow truck drivers are breaking rules/laws after hours by allowing me to ride in their truck to your storage facility. Yes I was at the facility within 40 minutes of my vehicle being towed because I got a ride with YOU driver. So 55.00 is excessive for 40 min of storage. I want my money refunded as soon as possible or I'm holding you liable for the entire bill for not following your own posted rules.

unauthorized vehicles will be removed as per California Vehicle Code 22658. The property owner has a chronic problem with people blatantly ignoring the private property, no parking signage. The above vehicle was removed and transported for storage and law enforcement was notified.Rincon Towing office hours are as posted 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday. Any afterhours vehicle releases are made available by appointment 24hrs / 7 days a week for the owners of the vehicles that have their cars impounded by police or have been towed / transported for various reasons.Rates are as Posted:1. Afterhours release fee, $105.002. Care and custody storage fee is $55.00 for 1st to the 24th hour, then calculated daily per calendar day.3. Normal passenger vehicle tow / transporting rate is $210.00The claimant did retrieve her vehicle later that evening and paid the towing/transporting, storage and release fees without incident. It is truly unfortunate when people, knowingly or unknowingly assume the risk of parking their vehicle on private property and then are extremely shocked to find their vehicle has been removed as posted upon their return. We are very sympathetic to these individuals and we try to offer the best and quickest solutions to remedy their costly and somewhat embarrassing experience. In closing, I find no fault or wrong doing by Rincon Towing policy/procedures and find all accrued charges to be accurate.Over the 40 years in business, I can only express sympathy with each and every individual who has come to our office to claim their vehicle with a story to tell.Respectfully,[redacted], GMr.Rincon Towing, Inc
Review: On Friday November 21st at approximately 715pm I parked in a parking lot in Downtown Sacramento. When I returned an hour and a half later all vehicles had been towed by Rincon Towing. I seen the tow truck company there taking another vehicle so I asked to ride back with him to get my car. He gave me a ride to their facility where I called the office and asked to pay to have my vehicle released. Almost an hour later when the two truck drivers returned with more cars from the parking lot they released my car and charged me 370.00. The breakdown was 210.00 for the two 55.00 daily storage fee and 105.00 after hours release.Desired Settlement: I would like the 55.00 daily storage fee refunded. I feel they are taking advantage of an approved business practice of charging a customer a daily storage fee when they towed my car and stored it for less than hour before I was there to claim it. Also the after hours release of 105.00 is an absurd amount to charge a customer when the customer is there there within a half an hour of you towing their car to pay to have it released. A refund of these fees would be appropriate and good business.
