Mislead on purchase contract
My son found the car at rightride Saskatoon.
He made the deal, I agreed to co sign. RightRide said I need only co sign for 6 months. “We need you on [as co signer] for 6 months, then you’re off. This agreement was stated to me at least 3 times.
In reality, the contract they had me sign listed me as the primary purchaser, and on the hook for the entire $ amount and payment completion.
So. . . I feel I was duped into a deal I never agreed to. Now I’m stuck with it.
My suggestion is to not trust that RideRight’s verbal commitments match what you’re signing.
Don’t let blind trust let you sign a contract with RideRight unless you read it VERY CAREFULLY

Class action lawsuit against rightride saskatoon
I've had a terrible experience with rightride saskatoon, its been over a year now and the engine light is still on, since having this 2015 dodge grand caravan se, I've had the following issues. Both front axles and struts need to be replaced, alternator needed to be replaced as well as the battery, they sold to me with bald tires which also needed to be replaced, they took forever to get the oil change I requested because it was way past the kms on the sticker from the previous oil change, the catalytic converter needed to be replaced, the windshield had a huge crack across the whole thing which needed to be replaced, the van still needs a wheel alignment that I can't get done because the struts need to be put on still, the sliding doors have issues, one of the seats doesnt go down, And finally the biggest issue of all, I just took my van to dodge to get the transmission checked cause I noticed it slipping, when they took off the transmission pan there were chunks and a lot of metals in there, which shows that they don't service their vehicles before selling them, nor do they live up to their agreements when signing. Another issue is that they also didn't fix the kms on any of my paperwork like I requested. I am losing out on over 2000 kms because of that. I'm a mom of 4 kids so I don't drive crazy there is no reason my transmission should be going out after only having it for under 22000 kms. I bought this p.o.s. for almost 15000. I'm looking for more people who have had bad experiences with this dealership to come forward so we can hit these guys with a class action lawsuit for their fraudulent, slimy, negligent ways. I've reached out to auto Canada head office because these slime balls don't like to call people back, or they say things like I'm just waiting on a response from so and so then don't even call you back. I have also been in contact with another one of their unhappy customers who bought online and when they delivered it to her the vehicle had a lot of hail damage that she is still waiting for it to be fixed and its been over a year for her too. Please email me at [email protected] so we can hold these guys accountable for screwing people over with their awful vehicles. If I could give them a 0 I would.

I have been in contact with Dallas the gm, he is now making calls and trying to get the issues with the van dealt with. He is being very nice and understanding this time around. I will update as the rest of these issues are fixed. So far they have fixed a door, the windshield, an oil change and the catalytic converter. Fingers crossed 🤞 they finish the rest of the repairs.

I purchased a van used and was told that many things would be fixed and repalced and that everything will be taken care of. 26 days later... nothing. I have contacted 3 separate people in the office and nothing has been set up.
Product_Or_Service: November 1

Desired Outcome

Finish the job I need all of these things fixed in a timely matter. Two of these things that need to be addressed that I mentioned before signing paperwork was 1) the smoke smell- I have children with asthma. And 2) the sound the vehicle makes when the doors unlock I have a son that is autistic and now everytime we stop somewhere and he knows the door is about to open the sound causes him great aniexty.
