He made the deal, I agreed to co sign. RightRide said I need only co sign for 6 months. “We need you on [as co signer] for 6 months, then you’re off. This agreement was stated to me at least 3 times.
In reality, the contract they had me sign listed me as the primary purchaser, and on the hook for the entire $ amount and payment completion.
So. . . I feel I was duped into a deal I never agreed to. Now I’m stuck with it.
My suggestion is to not trust that RideRight’s verbal commitments match what you’re signing.
Don’t let blind trust let you sign a contract with RideRight unless you read it VERY CAREFULLY
I have been in contact with Dallas the gm, he is now making calls and trying to get the issues with the van dealt with. He is being very nice and understanding this time around. I will update as the rest of these issues are fixed. So far they have fixed a door, the windshield, an oil change and the catalytic converter. Fingers crossed 🤞 they finish the rest of the repairs.
I purchased a van used and was told that many things would be fixed and repalced and that everything will be taken care of. 26 days later... nothing. I have contacted 3 separate people in the office and nothing has been set up.

Finish the job I need all of these things fixed in a timely matter. Two of these things that need to be addressed that I mentioned before signing paperwork was 1) the smoke smell- I have children with asthma. And 2) the sound the vehicle makes when the doors unlock I have a son that is autistic and now everytime we stop somewhere and he knows the door is about to open the sound causes him great aniexty.
Business called and stated that the matter has been resolved and the consumer is satisfied.
