I am in receipt of your complaint letter dated 7-29-15.  It is hardto address the complaint with complete accuracy without knowingwho the "feed mill" is.  But, I understand your position. Generally speaking when we ship to a feed store, they are our customer;not the feed store's...

patrons.  Feed stores order multiple breedsof birds and it is up to the feed store to make sure their customer(s)get the correct chicks. The shipping boxes are clearly marked asto the breeds. Feed stores usually order in large numbers for costand time effectiveness.If there is a problem, usually the feed store will call us and we will come to some typeof agreement with them concerning their customer's complaint. Remember, it is the feed store ordering and paying for the chicks to us. Therefore that is where our loyalities lie. Otherwise it could be that their customer could get double credit, if we were to take on the feed store's custoemr satisfaction guarantee. Another point to be considered is the fact that a feed store may be getting birds from another sorce as well as us.Apparently the feed store where the individual who issued the complaint, didn't thinkthe complaint valid enough to call us.  Nothing was mentioned about anything being crippled that I recall. But,  sometimes orders are held over due to not having as many birds as we anticipated.And finally, I have no idea what type of chicks this individual got that would be the feed stores responsibility and any adjustment or credit would be the stores responsibility if they felt it warranted.AT the risk of sounding "rude", this is not my concern because the individual is not my direct customer.I sincerely hope you can follow my train of thought. It is a little hard to explain. I appreciate any consideration in this matter.
