First of all the radiator failed a week after we had the [redacted] Secondly I was told the alternator would cost me,according to Rides by Ryan between 250 to 300 dollars. I was standing right next to Chris when he said bring it down, he never gave youany price whatsoever all the phone calls here are recorded so again it will only embarrass you. The alternator in a [redacted] doesn't even 300 bucks. It would have cost you about $50 bucks to have us do it in your car. I sold you a lemon because the alternator failed 7 months, and 10k miles after you bought a car with 181k miles? Lol what planet do you live on??You're right it wasn't a year, but you bought it on 2/16 so that's 7 months not 6, and 181k might as well be 200k. My point was that it's a high milage car that was sold a while ago now. We're always willing to give our customers deals on repairs they might need, but you're well past the point where it should be on us to be doing them for free. Demanding otherwise is just ridiculous. We replaced the radiator on it a month after you bought it for free. So now you think 7 months later we're responsible for replacing your alternator for free? We offered to repair it at a fair price since you bought the car from us. To which you turned around and left a b
t better business complaint.. I am not pregnant but my fiance is. I am attaching some messages from Ryan that I feel are very unprofessional. You bought a car with 200k miles over a year ago from us that just now had the alternator fail. We offered to give you a fair price on fixing it. You're pissed of because we won't fix it a freakin year later for free and you decide to say we sold you a lemon??? Keep it up. I'll make sure everyone knows the truth and exactly how ridiculous you are. You're only going to embarrass yourself Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Sincerely,

Complaint: [redacted]

Customer [redacted] purchased the car on 2/16/16. The car was a [redacted] with just over 180k miles. About two months after the...
purchase of the car the customer called to say the radiator failed. We told the customer to bring the car by so we could take a look at it. Customer never brought the car by, but a week or so later left a Revdex.com complaint stating that he paid another shop $200 to do the repair. In the interest of making him happy and because of the short time after the purchase, we offered to give him a check for the amount of the repair provided he gave us a receipt from the other shop. He came in several days later to collect his check and closed the complaint. Fast forward to August of this year (over 6 months from purchase) [redacted] called us to state the alternator failed. We told him to bring the car by and we would repair it for a discounted price because he bought the car from us. He became upset that the repair would not be free. We explained that its a high milage used car and he had put over 10,000 miles on the car since purchase and that it was not fair to us to assume we would be covering repairs for the rest of the cars life. We would however do it for the best price possible since it was purchased from us. That was the last we heard of him until this complaint. Never did he mention anything about the brakes, shocks, or transmission, the phone calls here are recorded and we would be happy to provide them. Lastly, the complaint above is clearly written by someone other than the actual customer who purchased the car, unless modern science has figured out a way for a man named [redacted] to become pregnant as stated in the complaint.-Ryan M.
Unfortunately we were not able to help [redacted] Due to she was not forth coming w all of her income.Per her signed original contract and stated income we came up w a down payment that worked for her. When our bank tried to verify her income the company she reported as her current...
employer explained to us she had been terminated a month prior. She then came to us saying she collects unemployment and per her bank statements showing those direct deposits it wasn't enough verified income to complete the original agreed upon contract and unfortunately the down payment had to change. We tried very hard to explain to her she had to be honest about her income so we would be able to help her. She did not want to come forth w her other income that she had told us she is still receiving from an employer to not jeopardize losing the unemployment which just didn't make the numbers work to her liking. It was out of our hands at this point and between her and the bank. We are very sorry we couldn't help her. Chris F[redacted]###-###-####
