Ricky's Tree Service

I hired Ricky's Tree Service to remove a large dead tree on my property.. Rick came as promised on the specified day and was able to cut down and remove the whole tree right to the ground. He did an amazing job cleaning up the area and moved all the wood from the tree to a pile I had in my back yard. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. I will have him back in the summer for some more tree removal. His work ethic was excellent. Thanks for a job well done.

Review: On Friday, Dec. 11, 2015, Ricky and his landscape crew from Ricky's Tree Service agreed to do specified work at my residence at [redacted]. Though much work was done on that day and he was paid in total the agreed sum of $2500.00, he never returned to finish the remainder of the work which was still quite extensive. He promised that he would be back the next day and have all work finished before the holidays. I have the dates of the numerous phone calls that I've made referencing the unfinished work. When I called, I was told that he was returning that day but never did. Most of my calls went unanswered. An email detailing the whole scope of work and that which was uncompleted was sent via email to him on Feb. 14, 2016. There was no response. It has now been more than three months, and I don't believe that he intends on returning to finish the yard work for which he was already paid.Desired Settlement: Complete all the work that had been agreed upon and previously paid for.

Review: I agreed on a verbal contract with [redacted] to cut branches off of several trees and cut three trees down. I was on a trip and could not monitor [redacted] work. He did all work, and my wife wrote him the check. Two of the trees have not been cut down to the stump, however. One tree has another 5-6 feet left to be cut another tree needs additional 3 feet cut. I can provide pictures of the remaining parts that need to be cut.I have called [redacted] on several occasions and he keep saying that he will be there to cut the trees down tomorrow and has never showed up yet. Meanwhile our checks have been cashed and there is not sign of [redacted].Desired Settlement: We ask [redacted] to please return and complete the job as we agreed to; that is to cut the trees down to the stump.
