Review: In August of 2013 my transmission stop working. I went to Ricky's Auto Custom to get my 2001 Honda Oddyssey fixed. He told me hey had an Honda Oddyssey Transmission that had only 30,000 miles on it and he would charge me $800.00 for the transmission and $400.00 for labor totaling to $1,200 to put it on. He gave me a 3 month warranty I asked for 6 months but he refused. I thought it was a great deal anyway, so I agreed to have the work done at his shop. I received my Van back and it ran very nice up to 12/05/2014. The transmission stop working again. I had to replace it again that's when the transmission expert told me that the transmission was a 1999 Honda Accord Transmission!!! I was very shocked and upset as well I feel like I was robbed. Now I know why he did not want to warranty it any longer. The transmission expert told me that I was very lucky to have had it running for this long. I had to pay for a new transmission and labor all over again because of this THEIF! To those who do business with him please be careful and make sure he is giving you the right piece that's for your car...Desired Settlement: I would like for him to give me the $800 dollars he charged me for the transmission. I think its only fare.
