We brought a newly purchased used car which failed inspection due to temp issue. They suggested a sensor and thermostat. They did the repair but kept car to try and reset the computer so a valid sticker could be issued. The car was running like a new car when we dropped it off. After the repair the car ran awful. We brought it back to have them fix it. They had it for more days than we did. Every time they said it was fixed we drove it home and could smell antifreeze and overheating. We could not drive it far. We took it back a few times after we drove it home and it still was not repaired. We were told maybe a bad sensor, bad gas they put in, or we found the leak and tried to silicone it... after paying [redacted] for the repair and oil change it still ran awful. He finally said he fixed it, was running good. We drove from his place to the lights by [redacted] and it was NOT fixed. It ended up overheating, getting towed to a different garage and the repair was a [redacted] repair for a cracked intake manifold. We also had 300 miles put on car from time of inspection to breakdown.Desired SettlementI want my [redacted] for not repairing it... they can keep the [redacted] for the oil change.Business Response In response to this complaint we will refund the customer via money order in the amount of [redacted] as she requested
