Review: I had rickjohn provide my house with a new roof 5 years ago when I bought my house. When they came out for the estimate they investigated the underneath plywood in the attic that needed to be replaced upon installation of the roof. When they put the roof on they did not replace any plywood. They had to come out 3 times to do it correctly and it still does not look nice. After 7 months of back and forth with them it still doesn't look good. Then the front center started peeling up away from the gutter line. I had my emails of them not wanting to come out. I was told no roof is perfect. This led to a leak. Still no results after the leak. This year because of the roof not being nailed down properly, ice got in and caused a second leak at Christmas time. A gentleman from rickjohn came out to take a look again. He informed that it wasn't the roof but that I need new siding. Being a young woman on my own I took his word for this. He offered to come back on his own and do the siding as a side job for himself. After many estimates, I learned that my siding was in perfectly good condition. I had another roofing company and a general contractor take a look at my roof. They both informed me that the roof is the cause of my leaks and just needs to be properly secured down. They shouldn't be able to stick their whole hand in a gap. I contacted rickjohn again and instead of dealing with me and coming out again, he wanted these other people to call him. That is not their job. I'm tired of being taken advantage of because I'm a young woman. I'm looking to sell my house and cannot say I have a new roof when it has already had 2 leaks in 5 years.Desired Settlement: I would like my roof to be fixed properly so I do not have leaks and it actually looks professional and presentable.
