Due to our experience, I would recommend you go with someone your insurance company recommends and is a Revdex.com credited. I got a engine replacement in 2008 & over $11,000 they took to repair the vehicle & it's still broke!! It's 2015 & still dealing with a broke car.. They turned it into a money pit! Stay away from them.
Review: This is actually a complaint being made for my mother, she felt intimidated and uneasy about pursuing the issue so I have been appointed. Took car in regarding overheating problem. They replaced a list of things and charged for it. Took home and was still overheating. Ended up taking it back for them to actually fix it. Eventually they figured out that a cylinder was leaking and they patched it with a ceramic compound that according to the mechanic could last anywhere from 100- 1000 miles, a temporary fix. He advised that the car be sold as soon as possible. She is now afraid to even drive the car because she might get stranded somewhere. I went in to business and requested a refund of the $974.39 from the shop manager. He wanted to look at the car again to see if it could be fixed again or something. I refuse to take it back because I'm afraid they may cause more damage and anything else they would do wouldn't justify the billed amount anyway. I believe if this was a good shop they would have offered to refund at least a partial amount considering they replaced numerous unnecessary parts. They shouldn't have replaced those parts if they didn't really know what was wrong with the vehicle.Desired Settlement: Want a refund, realize the overheating issue was still there but they replaced unnecessary parts and charged for it. If had been told about underlying issue the option of not making a useless repair would have been a better outcome considering the money that was spent "to fix" will have no return value.

Response:
The car was brought to our shop with a overheating issue. Most of
the story is true, even though the facts are not correct. My technician
test drove the car, and after inspecting the cooling system we found
that there was little to no flow in the cooling system, causing the over
heating issue. Upon talking to [redacted] and explaining that water pump was
the most likely the root cause of the problem. We also found the
radiator was plugged adding to the issues. We replace those parts, drove
the car late on a Friday. It was better, but was still running warm, I suggested to [redacted] to take it for the weekend. On Monday
we talked, she said it was still getting warm. I told her to bring it
by and we would look at it. We did determine that the head gasket had
failed on #5 cylinder. Very unfortunate. This is a very expensive repair
on this vehicle. $2000 plus. The head gasket failure is due to the lack
of coolant flow. If we would have done the head gasket repair, it would
have not lasted. Long story short, it needed all those pieces for a
proper long term repair.
I explained the situation to [redacted].
The ceramic sealer was a procedure we rarely use, but on occasion it is
the best option. I did not charge her for that procedure. It was not
overheating when it left, and ran good. I did explain that was a short
term repair. She agreed, and said it was time to get something else.
