Richard's Painting & Remodeling

I hired Richard (dba Richard's Painting & Remodeling) to paint my house. The work started, but it became evident that the work was of poor quality. There was little in the way of surface prep. No sanding, no power washing. Richard's two helpers were obviously not experienced painters and did sloppy work. I discussed the lack of quality with Richard twice but there was no improvement. After three days I let him go, losing my deposit, which was half of the cost of the job.
