[redacted] (homeowner) at residence [redacted] [redacted]. 6/7/2017 Arrived at homeowners residence and examined damaged pieces. Confirmed with homeowner the canvas paintings could be restored. Homeowner voiced concerns about the restoration cost. ART explained the restoration costs could be reduced by not replacing the damaged frames. Homeowner signs Work Authorization (attachment 1). 6/8/2017 ART provided written estimate to Agent and Homeowner for approval before beginning the restoration. Frames are excluded from the work scope except item 002 where it was mistakenly included. (attachment 2) 6/14/2017 Agent approves estimate and confirms insurance will be issuing payment. (attachment 3) 6/15/2017 Homeowner verbally approves estimate and is documented in email. (attachment 4) 6/22/2017 At beginning of restoration process, ART discovered spreader bars damaged and submitted revised estimate for replacement spreader bars. (attachment 5) 6/23/2017 Homeowner disagrees with spreader bar replacement costs. 6/26/2017 ART agrees to supply spreader bars free of charge. 6/26/2017 Final estimate is approved and restoration continues. (attachment 6) 11/21/2017 ART receives payment of $1801.54 from Homeowner and delivery is scheduled 12/14/2017 ART delivers 3 restored canvas paintings to Homeowner. Certificate of Satisfaction is signed. (attachment 7) 12/14/2017 Homeowner calls ART inquiring about missing frames. ART explains frames were excluded from the work scope as agreed during the pick-up on 6/7/2017 and as confirmed in the written estimates. ART reviews invoice and finds cost for one frame was included for item 002. ART offers to refund $235.44, the cost of the one frame that was inadvertently included in the invoice. (attachment 8) 12/17/2017 ART contacts Agent inquiring if insurance company can cover the cost of replacement frames. 12/18/2017 Agent advises the limits on the policy have been met and if Homeowner wants frames she will need to pay for them. (attachment 9) 12/20/2017 ART receives notification of complaint from Revdex.com 12/21/2017 ART submits email stating the canvas paintings were provided with hanging hardware and they can be hung as returned; however, ART offered to prepare an estimate to supply and install new frames.
