Here is the list of events from my encounter. There was a written signed contract between us. 50% down payment was required to start project. Down payment money spent on personal bills. How do I know? he told me he did! Money from the remaining 50% used to purchase supplies. Ran out of money and then went 25% over the agreed upon amount. Had to continue or fence would not be finished. Ask for more money as he said he was in a bind. Said he would do additional services to make things right. Gave him more money and was promised he would finish fence and extra projects. Stopped working completely. Promised every couple days to be there to complete. Always an excuse? no show. Finally stopped returning my calls. Fence ¾ of the way done. With poor workman ship at best according to the new fence company.
