Totally unprofessional - stay far far away! We (unfortunately) hired [redacted] to install & refinish hardwood floors. I had a bad feeling, but someone recommended him, and his price was very fair; not to mention, timing was what we needed. In the beginning, he was squirrelly about timing, and then the drama started. Fine, we could deal with that. The sub contractor he used for installation was absolutely wonderful - no complaints there. Now, when it came to refinishing is where we had the issue. We were clear from the beginning on what we wanted; however, when it came to actually sanding and refinishing the floors, he took a "take it or leave it" attitude. To top it off, he also mentioned a few too many times that he "was a professional." Well, in my book, professionals work to solve problems, offer solutions, and don't say "F… You" to customers. I may add in talking to other professionals after the fact, there are a lot of options - he either didn't know them or didn't want to take the time. Totally unacceptable, and when we told him that, he walked out of the job. In one sense, I think we dodged a bullet, but now we're stuck trying to find someone in a VERY short time schedule.
