Review: I purchased the car from this business on May [redacted] 2014. I was told the car came with a lemon warranty and if there were any major issues , such as engine repair, that I would be covered. The [redacted] told me if there were any major issues with the car they would be fixed before I picked up the vehicle. One the first day of having the car the check engine light came on. I notified him and dropped it off to him to be fixed. When I picked up the car the light was off and came back on after driving down the road. I tried to contact him again regarding the issues and he told me he was too busy to try back in a few days. I called back within a few days and he ignored my calls. I passed by the business the same day to find him out front of his shop on the phone. I pulled in and explained to him the light was back on and he told me this was not a major issues and he should be charging me to service it , although he told me any engine or major issues would be covered under the lemon warranty. Today July [redacted] 2014 my car began to smoke and catch fire on [redacted] and I had to be towed to a local shop. The shop diagnosed the issue and said something inside the engine was not working correctly prior to the incident and now the engine is totaled. The shop [redacted] said I had oil in the car and it was nothing I did it was just the engine already had prior issues. I am now 3,251.25$ later without a car after two months of owning it .Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded so I am able to get another car from a better and reliable business.
