Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/01/13) */ Ms [redacted] is complaining the rules of the game piece were not disclosed She fully admits that she did not pay to play therefore without consideration it is not a lottery, which it is not She also admits there was print to match a Reservation number Although print is not large the number was on the front of the game piece She also confirms she was given a prize albeit not the one she assumed she was gettingThe details of the game piece and the odds of winning were in fact printed on the lower back side of the game piece I attempted to respond to Ms [redacted] on social media where she first posted her concern but several others were commenting as well and the comments were starting to get hostile between Ms [redacted] and another [redacted] respondent It was at that time I removed the entire post! In my response to Ms [redacted] on [redacted] I did write an apology to Ms [redacted] stating I was sorry she did not see the full rules and contest details but we're on the lower back side of the mailer The contest rules are indeed in small print as most contest rules of this kind are Sincere apologies Ms ***!! It was never our intention to waste your time simply encourage you to visit our car sale if you were in the market for one Kind regards Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 8, 2016/01/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The response from the Revolution Autogroup assumes I misread or did not read the small print and the odds of winningI do not dispute the odds of winning but please let me know where it said that my number matching the number at the top of the page meant that I actually did not win anythingAll it meant was that I had to bring in the whole competition card in order to have the chance to now match another number (in small print in upper right side of competition card)with a prize "scorecard" at the dealership in order to get a chance to now reach into a box and pick a gift card containing $to $at [redacted] And why would my matching number be right beside the $cash prize??? [redacted] And yes, Revolution posted an apology that basically was an apology that I was not able to read and interpret the fine print for odds and rules [redacted]
