is a company that works with local businesses to improve their online reputation. One way we accomplish this goal is to promote positive information throughout the internet, which can be in the form of a review, video, image, social media platform or many other venues. One way we market ourselves is calling businesses and offering a consultation on how our services can improve a potential client's online reputation. All of our reps go through extensive training on phone etiquette and must maintain proper protocol which is overseen with quality assurance. We have been made aware of situation in question and have been investigating diligently on what exactly happened in this case and what improvements can come out of this. We have honored this business dev consultant's request and put the business that they consult to in our do not call database and will continue to work to improve and refine our phone techniques.

I was contacted by this company . I immediately told the gentleman that I was aware of the negative comments online and had it under control . I then told him that I was not interested , and to please not contact me again .
Not five minutes later he called again . I again told him I wasn't interested . He asked why ? I responded ," well in the last five minutes I googled your company and negative reviews came up " . He went silent , I then asked " if you can't erase your own bad reviews , why would I pay you to not clear mine . " He hung up on me and I blocked their number .
Review: On 7/28/14 I signed my business up with review boost with the intention of their company setting up a [redacted] based website for my business and make it easier to find on [redacted] and [redacted] maps. Review boost describes themselves as a partner company with [redacted] and made promises of a better [redacted] listing and positive reviews from my customers. I have been working with review boost or trying to work with I should say, for almost 2 months now and have actually lost business from it. I have not received any of the things review boost said would be done for my business although I have sent them all the items they requested. I have spoke with review boost numerous times and the outcome is always the same, there is always a problem with the internet, a 404 error blamed on [redacted] or something of that nature. I have spoke with numerous individuals that represent this company and each time I received an excuse as to why I didn't have a website yet and why my business could not be found on [redacted] along with a promise to see changes soon. Review boost completely took my listing off [redacted] and [redacted] maps making it impossible to be searched unless information about the business was known and searched on Google. I have recently found out that review boost has either attached a spam or completely blocked any searchable link to my business. I have paid atleast $500 to review boost in the months that I have worked with them and received nothing. I advise no other company to be tricked into this scheme that I unknowingly fell into. This company does nothing but harm to your business. This also gives [redacted] a bad name being linked to them and as a partner company as I received calls from "[redacted] representatives" about the work and errors that were being found and work (not) being done. Fraudulent company, buyer beware!Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of my money lost to this scheme and fraudulent company. I feel I was unknowingly schemed by this company and [redacted] as I received calls from "[redacted] representatives" about the work (not) being done. This company needs to be stopped as they are targeting small businesses looking for advertisement.

As a member of the [redacted] ReviewBoost is a company that works with local businesses to improve their online reputation. One way we accomplish this goal is to promote positive information throughout the internet, which can be in the form of a review, video, image, social media platform or many other venues. Because we can't control the internet and because of the dynamic changes that occur rapidly our sales and customer service department go through extensive training on phone etiquette in how to manage expectations. Every business is different and we can never state a certain time frame or an exact result of our service, however we do achieve the overall goal of creating and maintaining a healthy online reputation for our clients in time. Communication is priority number 1 and we have been investigating diligently on what exactly happened in this case and what improvements can come out of this. We have reached out to the [redacted]nd have come up with a solution to this situation by offering them a full refund as well as transferring ownership. The check went out today to fulfill our end of the settlement.
Review: I was contacted by this company. The person that called in said they had seen our business online and since we are a new business they could help us boost our reviews and get our name out there. They said they can get us lots of positive reviews on separate sites. The charge would be 298 and after the first month 198. Within a month they barely got me any reviews. They claimed that they did so many reviews on Google for me which I have paperwork from them but when you search my companies name in Google I only have two review which they had nothing to do with. They basically took my money and ripped me off and now are giving me the run around. I might never get my money back but I don't want these people to lie and get others to sign up with them and take their hard earned money. This is wrong!!Desired Settlement: I want to be paid back my 298 and apology would be nice. Since they lied about what they told me they could deliver

Review: I the beginning of July 2014 I hire review boost to help with my Google ratings. I paid $298 for the introductory 6 weeks Their sales rep told me they could take all my thank you letters from my customers and add them as ratings to Google. I also told the rep that my slow season was coming up and I wouldn't be paying for the monthly service and I would be canceling at the beginning of September. He said that was just fine. Over the six weeks my Google rating did not change, 3 days before cancellation [redacted] my account rep said they requested permission from Google to make changes to my page and I would be getting a post card in mail. The same day I paid for this service I emailed over all of my letters from customers I also sent out 100 surveys to my customers. nothing has changed.
I owner has called to ask what was the problem when I explained he proceeded to yell at me like I messed up. he even hung up on meDesired Settlement: I would like to amount I paid refunded back onto my card.

Hey [redacted]
Review: Review Boost, headed up by [redacted], falsely advertises and sucks you in by guaranteeing to improve your online and internet reputation. Even their website falsely states that they improve your internet presence on all search engines which which presumably includes the major 3 - [redacted] and [redacted] (see attachments). However, 2 years later, at $399 automatically debited from my credit card each and every month, not only have they admitted that they did NOTHING on [redacted] and Bong, but in fact all my internet addresses and information are totally incorrect, they have done virtually NOTHING to earn this $399 per month, and have in fact made things worse by lulling me into a false sense of security and allowing small problems to become worse. They defend their actions by stating we did not provide them enough Client Testimonials, but we have over 1000 client testimonials on our website, which they refused to entertain because they state they have to be "original" in order to be used, and they can not or will not do anything with them. If you are even a few days late with their $399 monthly payment, they will hound and harass you until they track you down, and can charge your card. They are common thieves and charlatans if not snake-oil salesmen, and I want all my money that I paid back now, under the legal theories of breach of contract, false advertising, fraudulent inducement to contract, negligence, recklessness, and other causes of action. When I called to complain as soon as I found out that they didn't do anything on [redacted] or [redacted], amongst other monthly complaints I had, rather than work with me or try and ameliorate the situation, they insulting refunded me $399 as an "account change" and then promptly terminated my account, and refused to answer my emails or phone calls requesting an explanation. This manner of conducting business is also unacceptable, and I demand justice now.Desired Settlement: If I am unable to obtain a full refund of the approximately $10,000 I have paid them thus far over the past year and a half, I insist on them fully performing under their contract for services and actually DO SOMETHING about the specific issues I hired them for, and have complained about ,above.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
(1) I received a few refunds this morning but I do not believe it is all the money I paid - please confirm and clarify;(2) none of their attorneys have "reached out to me" as they declare in their answer;(3) I am still worse off for having hired them for the reasons outlined in my initial complaint.

Review Boost again prides itself on its products and transparency. We are results based company and customer service is incredibly important to us. Here are answers the clients specific questions and we are happy to answer any more that will help satisfy this client professionally.
Review: As our business Dev. Consultant, a small part of my job is to ensure that our image and reputation online is protected. I have repeatedly told [redacted] at ReviewBoost to STOP calling and harrassing me. He dials [redacted], asks for me by name and proceeds to spend several minutes a week, berating me for a client who posted a negative review several years ago. He always calls from [redacted] this is his DIRECT DIAL phone number. The person [redacted] , is extremely agressive, he refuses to listen to me when I tell him to NOT contact our company again. The business nubmers are ALL on the national do not call registry for businesses, he HAS been told this, and continues to break the law, and keeps calling me.
It has gotten to the point of personal harrasment to our company, and we are going to have no choice but to consider legal action against the person [redacted] and the business REVIEWBOOST unless this stops.Desired Settlement: I do not want REVIEWBOOST to contact our company again. At either of our locations. Premier Auto Group at [redacted] or Premier Auto Sales at [redacted]. EVER AGAIN

The rep who called us several times from Review Boost lied and was rude. Says he's not selling us anything, which is a lie, clearly they want to sell their service. Then he proceeds to attempt to bully me into using their service. VERY RUDE several times in our short conversation while I was trying to tell him "no thank you", which he would not accept. After I asked him why we would do business with such a jerk, he finally relented with the questions and hung up.
