I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. However, I do think there method of business is set out to defraud the public. A "free trial" is intended to get someone to try their product and IF they like it - order more. I am a college graduate and always on alert for scams. However, they got me on this. I did not realize I had signed up for such a scam until too late. The so called agreement per their terms was completely hidden or buried in very fine print because I would never knowingly agreed to be scammed in such a manner.  Even when the 2nd shipment was sent to me, there was no invoice in the box indicating the outrageous cost of the product or anything that indicated it was a "subscription.' Their intend is clearly not to do business the fair and honest way - but designed to defraud.

We understand our customer's concerns, however, at this time, the Customer’s account has been flagged as a chargeback for the disputed charges, and thus, we are unable to provide a refund as requested. The chargeback processor and credit card companies will at this point determine the legitimacy of the claim and provide any refunds they deem substantiated and necessary. In addition, any and all results from this claim dispute would be final. We can however confirm that this customer has been taken off recurring billing.We continuously monitor customer feedback to help us make adjustments to improve our service so that customers can have a better experience. included photos of my checking account, an unopened second package sent from the company and a packing slip from the first package.  I have had over $200 taken from my checking account without my approval.  This company is dishonest and predatory.  They refused to accept return of the second unopened package because, "people can make a package look like it hasn't been opened."

Customers are able to cancel their subscription at any time during the trial period, return the unused portion of the supply, and are not obligated to pay anything additional. Unfortunately, since we didn't receive your cancellation notice within the 14-day trial period, a charge incurred for the original shipment and the recurring subscription took effect as per the terms and conditions. All terms and conditions are clearly posted and must be accepted at the time of order to complete the purchase however we do understand how that can sometimes be overlooked.We’ve escalated your account and have issued you a full requested refund on your most recent order minus the initial agreed upon shipping and handling fees ($99.94). Please allow 5-7 business days to reflect on your bank statement. All terms and conditions are clearly posted and must be accepted at the time of order to complete the purchase however we do understand how that can sometimes be overlooked. 3/15: Initial trial order was placed my Ms. [redacted] for both the RevealRX Serum and Eye Cream.   4/4 Ms. [redacted] call into customer service outside of the 14 day trial period to cancel the trail and enrollment in the auto shipment program.  Per that call, her account was closed.   On 4/15 Ms. [redacted] again called into customer service, this time to request a full refund.  The agent she spoke with explained the terms and conditions and offered a discount of 35% which was declined.   We’ve escalated Ms. [redacted]'s account and have gone ahead and issued a full refund for the most recent shipment. Please allow 3-5 business days to reflect on your bank statement.   We continuously monitor customer feedback to help us make adjustments to improve our service so that other customers like you can have a better experience. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me, even though I incurred a $30 overdraft as the result of the funds being pulled that I was not aware of when I made the complaint (I am not seeking the overdraft fee as I just want closure on this).  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.Just a side note to the organization - if customer service is your priority, you may want to evaluate how the trial period is communicated as I only learned about it from a customer service representative after seeing it come out of my account.  It may not be clearly noted as you believe it to be based on all the complaints I read about this. Before customers commit to our 14-day trial, our customers must affirm to and acknowledge the terms and conditions for our autoship program by marking the terms and conditions check boxes. They also acknowledge that they know that they may cancel their program at anytime by contacting us with the phone number provided to them during their checkout.  As our Customer already explained, they did receive a 35% refund. However, after hearing the Customer’s full complaint, we feel for the Customer. On 12/5/17 we have processed an additional refund of $120.23, to amicably resolve this customer complaint. This total amount refunded completes the disputed amount, minus the cost for shipping and handling. We ask that the Customer allows 7 business days for this refund to be processed. Please feel free to contact us if you should have any further questions. Our Customer has been notified with email confirmations regarding these refunded amounts. Their account has been closed and will not be receiving any further charges from our company. Please feel free to share our response with our Customer. The agent that she spoke with clearly explained the terms and conditions and company policy and offered Ms. [redacted] a refund of 35% to resolve the complaint.  Ms. [redacted] accepted the offer and a 35% refund was applied to both orders.  We considered the matter resolved.
