Resumes, Etc.

If you want a resume service that is not one of those 1-800 jobs, where you have to fill out all kinds of forms, in other words, you do the work than go to Resumes Etc. They are brilliant, caring, and spend the time with you that you need and want.

I thought all was hopeless, I was on the verge of losing my home and Fred and Chris from Resumes Etc. said they would do all they could to prevent that. True to their word, they found me a job just in time to save my home. They really care about their customers.

We never ever ever,promise that someone will get results right away.In fact,in this clients case we told him that because he was in a specialized industry trying to transition,that it would be difficult.He rec'd 3 interviews out of 60 applications which is 5% far exceeding the average.It may well be that his interviews skills are poor.It is not up to me to close the deal,just get him interviews and we succeeded.Our website has no reference whatsoever to guarantees concerning interviews and that is deliberate.[redacted],Resume etc

I am rejecting this response because:
Again, I simply contacted Resumes Etc again to seek a revision to the resume. I am not in a specialized industry. That perception is yours due to your lack of knowledge held regarding the industry in which I am employed. In fact, I have a broad scope of experience and expertise in many different fields. 
Does your website not state that once a customer of Resumes Etc one could consider themselves a member of the extended family? That one could call at any time, a month or 5 years from now, and ask for advice? I understand that not getting a real feel for what I have to offer during our initial 10 minute phone conversation is very possible. That is why I contacted Resumes Etc again after only receiving TWO interviews (one phone - out of state, and one in person - underpaying) out of 60 applications. Had Resumes Etc taken the time to contact me again as they said they would we could have discussed what else I have to offer. We could have discussed what I felt could be added to the resume to make it more enticing and more professional.
I did not expect to be told quite bluntly that it was not the resume it was me. A more professional response would have been "Well, let me get back to you and see what we can improve upon". I would have thought that a professional resume company with a 99.9% customer satisfaction rating would have at least called a member of their extended family back. Unfortunately, I'm not in the resume writing industry or family therapy so I cannot tell you what went wrong. I can only tell you that I am not satisfied, and therefore hold firmly in seeking a refund. I will continue to tell my colleagues through social media and in person about my experience with Resumes Etc to ensure that no one else has to experience this.

I have been researching resume services for several weeks and realized that most are off shore call centers with boiler plate resumes or small businesses that will edit and re-type a resume. I am a Corporate CFO and m wife is an IT Vice President. When we spoke with most of these resume services, they didn't have a clue abut what we really do. Then a friend told me about Resumes Etc. When we spoke with Fred and Chris, these guys gave us a lecture on our roles. What an incredible knowledge base, I was shocked to discover there is a Resume Service with real talent, experience, knowledge and credentials, and their work is impeccable. If you want a true partner who is so much more than just a glorified typing service, I seriously recommend Resumes Etc.

I am a long term customer of Resumes Etc. I needed an update but had no money because I am getting cancer treatments and lost my job. Resumes Etc. provided all updated services at no cost because of my health. Do I have to add anything else to this story?

When I first contacted Resumes Etc., I had a nice conversation with Fred, the owner. We talked about how his business is family owned and how it will eventually be left to his two adult children who work in the business. Fred said that for this reason they are totally different than the typical 1-800 service where the person you work with will be gone tomorrow. With Resumes Etc. its a 30 year relationship customers. They call whenever they need to and we're always there for them, stated Fred. Well, I am on my third round with Resumes Etc over the past 10 years, and I can tell you that they truly treat me like a member of their family. I highly recommend these people.

Fred is a good man with a big heart. I was out of work with no funds and because I was a three times former client, Fred reinvented me free of charge. I secured a good position with his reinvention. He is a true values driven person and a real A+ guy.

The client submitted a resume and cover letter for update.Right from the start,when she received her first draft,she demanded a refund.we stated that we would make revisions.each time she emailed a revision we included her comments and she would add more revisions  and again demand a refund.we...

did 4 revisions exactly as she requested and with each revision we emailed,she wanted a refund.She obviously is trying to scam us and get a free resume.we can provide you with each email she sent and show how each set of comments were incorporated into her resume and she is entitled to one more final revision at no cost.have her email the Revdex.com the final set of revisions she would like to see.we will  email the revision to her and the Revdex.com so that the Revdex.com can see that we are providing the client exactly what she wants.

I contacted Fred for updating my resume and with his personal touch describing my career and the attributes I would bring to an organization, he aided in getting me $5,000 more than the original salary asked. In addition, I was hired on by the new firm within 24 hours of leaving the previous organization. Again thanks to Resumes Etc, I can honestly profess that Fred's writing skills made me shine and his assistance with interviewing skills took me over the top to a great job.

I went to Resumes Etc for help as a single mother. These people are so nice and they are very affordable taking my situation into account. I called many other services and they are call centers and didn't care about my personal issues. But, Resumes Etc made it affordable for me and stayed with me until I found a job. I didn't think that businesses like this still exist.

average of 1%,but wants a full refund.We can't even put into words the level of dishonesty associated with this customer.First he claims he reviewed the resumes and did not need any changes,then says he used it for 60 days with an above average response and then wants a refund.I don't know any any business owner can respond to this level of dishonest other than to offer any revisions he may feel will help,and I emailed him with that offer and he has not responded.It appears that this client wants to walk into a car dealership, use a vehicle for 60 days and then demand a complete refund. I would like to take this opportunity to highly recommend the services of Resume Etc., especially Fred. Resume Etc. completed my resume within a couple of days and they were spot on target. Fred took on the challenge of re-doing my resume that was out dated and which gave me such writer’s block to renew.
