Review: Restorations2 was hired on April 1,2013 to start the remolding process of our home. Project start date was scheduled for April 10,2013. Down payment required was submitted prior to start of job in the amount of 8,306.68. **. [redacted] (AKA Pastor [redacted]) is the Contractor responsible for the remolding contracted that was agreed upon by the noted parties. **. [redacted] & **. [redacted]. The scheduled time of the whole project was suppose to be 42days. **.. [redacted] walked off the job on July 16,2013 breaking the contract without any type of communications why or any explanation. After he was given his initial down payment he required additional fee's amounting up to a total of 15,941.68. After such payments where disbursed to him we inquired why the job was taking so long and what would be the completed dates. We also meet with **. [redacted] and had a few concerns on why none of the projects were completed at this time. He requested additional fee's at that time, we informed him that we would not be able to give him any further payments until some of the work was completed. I asked for receipts for materials & supplies that was purchased he was unable to produces such receipts. **. [redacted] left our home in very unsafe conditions, uncovered electrical wiring, exposed ceiling areas, completely unfinished bathroom area, leaky pipes, microwave oven installed continues to shorten out causing us to reset the fuse boxes. Additional plumbing problems in my half bathroom in our basement area. We are living in very limited and dysfunctional house at this time. We are not able to use our main bathroom, no tub, no shower, toilet leaks so we have to cut it off. This is very unacceptable. I along with my fianc' are on medical prescribed medications due to our conditions. My fianc' had double knee surgery a year ago which prohibits him from using the steps often. This company is very unprofessional & unreliable. I would never recommend.**.[redacted] is not responding to phone messages,texts,e-mail.Desired Settlement: I would like for Restoration2 to refund us the total amount paid of 15,941.68. We have to restart this whole project over having to hire new contractors causing us to pay additional monies forward. We have been truly inconvenience with our living arrangements causing us to have to use rental facilities for bathroom access. This is very frustrating for my household to have to live in such array.
