We finally finished the total replacement of all our windows in our home. Due to structural changes we were making we started with a General Contractor, who I found to be overpriced, and the installers mediocre. I began pricing the remaining 15 windows out with every big name window installer in the Pinellas area, you name it, I priced them there. They didn't listen to what I wanted, and were constantly pushing me into a brand or style based on incentives that they receive from the manufacturers. Having done my research, and having spent 30+ years in Miami Dade code, I knew exactly what I wanted for our home here.

Thanks to a recommendation, I called Steve. Cox Aluminum came in 15-30% less, than any of the other quotes I received. They listened to what I was looking for, and didn't push me to buy impact windows, or any of the other unnecessary upgrades that many others did. We chose CWS sliders, double paned windows with the argon gas, low-e, insulated, with screens. We live on cobble stone, and cannot hear the street traffic anymore. Troy did an amazing job with the installation, exceedingly better than any of the installers we have had in our home. I would highly recommend COX to anyone looking to replace any window or door in their home. Save your time and energy, you wont find anyone that is priced better, takes their time with you as Steve and Michelle do, or who has a more qualified installer than Troy.
