Beware of this fraudulent company that calls themselves a California car restoration club. Sweepstakes or memberships will lead to undisclosed credit charges until you contact your bank institution.
Paid through their official website, not through social media like they want to use as their cover story for complaints against them:/
Prior to 6/2019 I was a member,in June 2019 I cancelled membership got refund for that month. Now after,I changed my debit card in June so it would not happen again. Here we are in December, they took out membership fees 2 days on,12/10/2019 and 12/11/2019 2019.They do not have my new bank cad number.this is fraud. How did they get my new *** card number?i called them again,he couldnt explain, but said I would get refunded.Time to get a lawyer to sue them?
I sincerely apologize for the charges which appeared on your account and I want to take the time to explain what happened. On December 10th and 11th we experienced a technical error which attempted to reprocess your previously declined charges with Restomods. We have isolated and fixed this issue as well as refunded all of these reprocessed charges. We take these matters very seriously and want to assure you that none of your encrypted information was compromised, it was solely caused by a technical configuration error that we have fixed and taken steps to ensure never happens again. We only have the credit card information that you provided to us, sometimes banks will charge a new account with the same information if previous charges have been accepted. You should have received your refund(s) already but if you do not see them in the next 3-4 business days or if you have further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us by phone or email provided below. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience,Chris H
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

This is a website for sweepstakes to win cars or cash. They are intentionally misleading and put “no purchase necessary to win” at the very bottom of the page in fine print, after you already fill the form and complete your entry they take you to the next page STEP 2 and ask you to fill out your credit card information for $8.95 but do not have information available on what the charge is for and are not forthcoming that you don’t have to pay to enter. It is intentionally misleading you and the website needs to be modified.
First of all every page on our site has a link to our official rules which clearly state all the ways to enter the sweepstakes, including the way to enter with no purchase necessary: ***s/
The button you use to sign up clearly states the membership and the billing terms (attached). In addition, every charge has our phone number directly attached to it. We also have customer service on staff every day to handle customer needs including account cancellations: ***
We also have a page that is linked from every advertisement that describes how the sweepstakes works: https://***.com/*** including sections on membership benefits and billing and how to enter for free.
This particular customer has been refunded his membership fees. These take 3-5 business days to process which is as fast as our bank can do it. I show they have been processed completely.
There it is - right there in print- - the unsuspecting purchaser has to follow a link in order to understand the fine print
