Review: We purchased a small package of equipment from Restaurant Assets and Design over the internet and in person with the owner, Mr. [redacted] who was happy to take our order and set up the purchase as soon as we deposited 50% of the 12,000.00 package. There were changes in the items that we wanted and changes based on what they could provide in the way of some used pieces upon discovery of quality. We waited over 8 weeks for them to ship, but were told that it would only take 2 weeks for procure and ship items not in stock. We waited and waited and waited with little or no communication from this company until I threatened to get lawyers involved. Finally they were ready to ship, but it was not going to be with all the items we ordered! Why wait until you are ready to ship to tell us that? We received most of our equipment from the list we submitted but with some dings and dent and wrong sized pieces. We informed them of the issues and were told that they would compensate us for what was missing in the shipment or what was wrong sized and charged for at a higher rate. That was in October of 2013! It is currently February of 2014. This company does not keep it's word and does not feel that making a client happy or reconciling is important. Crappy customer service every step of the way and now we have to go after them to get back the 469.00 balance owed. I cannot recommend this company, stay away from them at all costs.Desired Settlement: They owe us 469.45 we would like a check or PayPal payment ASAP...
