Review: I purchased an advertising package online from [redacted], which is owned by respond.com. The sales company states both names depending on when you call. A few days after my purchase [redacted] called from respond.com and told me that the $149 I paid online for membership was wrong and the price is actually $792. From the start, I got a bad feeling, as I felt like I had the bait and switch tactic pulled on me. I told her I did not want to pay that much and why would the website be wrong. She said she didn't know why and that she would cancel my membership and advertising package if I did not pay the $792 instead of the $150 membership fee. I told her I would not pay that and she told me she was going to cancel my account. I told her that would be fine and that I expect a full refund since they never provided me any leads and never activated my account. She said I would receive a complete refund for the $149 membership fee and the $250 for leads I had paid. I received a cancellation email on April 29, 2014 and a few days later received a voicemail from [redacted] stating she could not refund my money becuase my credit card had expired. Since my credit card does not expire until September 2014, I am no suspicious as to why they do not have my credit card information since they were able to charge it the $149 and $250 previously. I feel like this company is a scam and I am not interested in providing [redacted] any information off of my credit card.Desired Settlement: Mail me a refund check:
