Before I share my moving experience with Respect Movers in Los Angeles, I just want to start by asking, can we really trust reviews? At a time when faith in our government is at all time low, 75% of us trust online reviews. Some 82% of American adults check reviews before selecting a restaurant for dining, before buying products online and even before choosing a moving company. But the way we evaluate reviews and determine the trustworthiness of companies is alarmingly simplistic. There's been a lot of studies that say we are swayed by a simple star rating more so than what reviewers actually write.

I spent 1 week reading Moving Companies reviews on Yelp and thought I found a company that could help this overwhelming task. However, at the end of it all (after my move), I emerged questioning our communities trust in the STARS.

I can honestly say that I've moved 3 times in last 8 years and I've never had furniture damaged. I found Respect Movers in Los Angeles on the biggest review websites Yelp and Google My Business. Yes, like many, I read a few reviews that claimed that Respect Movers would handle my move with ease. Well, let's just say you can't trust everything you read. Everything went seemingly smoothly until my furniture was delivered. Respect Movers located at 6446 Lexington Ave #30 in Los Angeles damaged almost all major pieces of furniture. I'm not going to make this review lengthy, but let's just say my SMART TV and bed had to be replaced. Not only did Respect Movers ruin my furniture, but they attempted to over charge me. For the last 2 1/2 weeks I've been trying to get this settled with the so called "OWNER." At this point, he's ignoring my calls and even my text messages. I've NEVER experienced a company so unprofessional.

At the end of the day, when choosing a moving company, we wont know how good a job they will do until we agree to have them move our precious belongings.

I typically don't write reviews, but I felt the need to warn others NOT USE Respect Movers in LA California! There's absolutely NOTHING to RESPECT about this moving company. Refrain from ever calling this number (XXX) XXX-XXXX and going to this website respectmovers.com.
