Before we committed to the *** contract (from Resource Edge) I asked the Sales representative over the phone if it would operate on the free boards to get us started. He actually suggested himself that we could work through all of the free boards first before we move on to the paid boards and that we would absolutely see results. He also assured us that we would get responses and that *** would operate (albeit limited) without the paid boards. I specifically stated that I did not want to invest more than our commitment with *** on a monthly basis to get started, and then later on down the road, if their service worked, I would definitely invest in the paid boards. We invested hours downloading, setting up, and learning the software to use in our office. I believe this sales representative, out of good faith or bad, provided (confidently) false information that led me into the contract. If I was told that the free boards would not work when I asked, I would not have entered into the contact. Being in sales myself, I understand the importance of consumer protection and I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. This is a clear case of bait-and-switch. The Sales guy told me it would work without the paid boards. I asked him very specifically and his response was that it definitely would yield results. After using their service, we had absolutely zero responses (meaning no results whatsoever), confirming that his statements were completely false. His false statements led us into a contract. When we contacted them again, they said that we had to use the paid boards to see results. This was in direct contradiction of what the original sales representative told us. *** (Resource Edge) denied that he ever told us that. After realizing that we were victims of a bait-and-switch scheme, I cancelled my credit card to prevent further charges. I wanted for them to give me a full refund, but I was willing to setting for just discontinuing my subscription. Resource Edge has since sent my account to collections.

We search 2300 sites and all of them are working correctly. In our contract we do not guarantee they will find candidates that will work for their openings or the quality of resumes on the sites we search. We do always recommend that when a client is wanting to purchase ***, they have a pay board subscription as well. We do search Free Boards and different open web searches and it will download results that are on the site, just as advertised. By reading the notes in our system, I can tell there was a conversation about adding a payboard. I have checked her license and ran some reports. She stated she did not receive any results but I show she downloaded 16,076 results from the Free Boards. The report also shows a total of all results downloaded into her system was 22,477. The statement that nothing downloaded into her system is false. If she had added a pay board along with these free results she downloaded, she more than likely would have been satisfied with her results. We did try to work with her to get this resolved and explain to her that we can only bring in the results out there from the freeboards. Allowing her to use our system to the fullest with sending out emails and helping her recruit. We have many satisfied clients and we are always available to help them as we did with this client. The agreement is signed after the customer has reviewed. The customer is liable to fulfill the terms that they have agreed to upon completing the agreement. By signing the contract they are also agreeing to the cancellation policy. We have tried our best on our part to answer all questions and concerns.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
They stated that we downloaded 22,477 results. I don't see how that is possible at all. We did not see one single result. Maybe their software is faulty. I have no idea. But we did not receive any results. If they say we downloaded all those results, how come after several phone calls we've made to them, they've never mentioned that before when we were complaining to them that we were not getting ANY results? I do not believe what they are saying after they already bait-and-switched us to sell us a poor service. I think they are ethically irresponsible. We have several other professionals in our industry who said they could have told us not to do business with this company.

These people just like wasting other peoples time - If we didn't bring back resumes, we would be out of busisness in 30 days - we been in busisness for over 19 years...
Below is a print screen showing their results under Free Boards. 100 candidates per page and it shows they have 161 pages. Below that is the other tab for open web and it shows 64 page
