Resort Repairs

Hired Resort Repairs January 28th 2022 to install new boot to furnace exhaust pipe on roof. Our furnace stopped working February 3rd 2022 thru November 15th 2022. Issue for the furnace not producing heat for this period of time was due to the fact that a blockage was discovered in furnace flu pipe due to faulty installation of the new boot back in January by Resort Repairs. I sent photos of exhaust flu in attic and you could tell the pipe from the roof was pushed down to far changing the pitch of entire exhaust flue due to blockage in air flow. Resort Repairs denied any responsibility for the furnace problem not producing heat for all those months. They said this could never happen. This issue of improper air flow was discovered by Custom Mechanical a well respected HVAC company in this area. We also waited over a hundred and forty days for Resort Repairs to recap the old flue exhaust pipe and re-shingle area it protruded from the roof.
This company lacks honesty, integrity and customer service was non existent . Do not recommend.

Review: The job involved repairing cracks in interior walls. The job was stated but never finished despite numerous telephone calls to the owner. The repairman walked out in the middle of the job leaving several interior walls in mess (mud sealer that never dried or smoothed out or painted). A new repairman had to finish the job at additional expense. Despite all the unfinished work and delay, I received an invoice in the mail for $340.00 from Ocean Repairs. I tried to talk to the owner about the invoice, but he claimed that I was responsible for payment of the partial work that was done and he hung up the phone on me.Desired Settlement: Withdraw the invoice for $340.00.
