Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Sadly, we were not given what Reset Strategies sold usWe gave them $for a "day reset" which consisted of mostly things that we already knew or could be easily gleaned from any self help marketing bookThe final "session" was basically a hard sales pitch for us to continue on with them AND of Course pay them additional moneyBelow is what we first signed with themOur attorney looked over the "contracts" and laughed at how unprofessional and inconsistent they are."WE ASK FOR A COMMITMENT OF ONE YEAR, EVEN THOUGH THE PLANS ARE 2-YEAR PLANS, IF YOU ARE NOT COMPLETELY TICKLED AND THRILLED AT ANY TIME YOU CAN, WITH A DAY NOTICE, EXIT FROM THE RELATIONSHIP WITHOUT INCURRING ANY MORE FEES.The second contract when they talked us into implementing their plan stated:OUR WORK IS GUARANTEED IN THE EVENT YOU FEEL THAT WE ARE NOT MEETING THE STANDARDS DESCRIBED HEREIN, OR BASED ON OUR MUTUAL CONVERSATIONS AND AGREEMENTS, WE WILL TERMINATE THE AGREEMENT WITH A DAY WRITTEN NOTICETHESE STRATEGIES AND TACTICS WERE DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR YOU TO PRODUCE A 3:ROIMUCH OF THE END RESULTS ARE DIRECTLY PROPORTIONATE TO THE LEVEL OF APPROVAL COMMITMENT AND PARTICIPATION BYTheir "plan" was for us to give away our product with COUPONS in order to attract new business and bring back old customersThis "tacky" approach was not what our business needed, and it actually hurt us by cheapening our brand, as well as us giving away over $3,in product in a month periodWe went to them because our business was slow, and heading into the slowest seasonThey offered a guarantee which contained no "fine print or disclaimers anywhere on their site, or on the retainer we signedI have since read in their promotional pieces that they ONLY work with medium and large businesses...so they should have turned us away, since we are truly a tiny business that could not afford to throw our money away.We paid RESET STRATEGIES a total of $14,in cash and food, as well as giving away over $3,of our product for a total of $17,700.00, invested over a period of monthsFor this we received NO RETURNWhen we told them it wasn't working there was no offer of helpAll they were concerned about was when we could make the next payment. In examining their business, they appear to have no real credentials, and all the grandiose boasting on the website is the result of a purchased "CELEBRATY BRANDING PACKAGE"(http://www.celebritybrandingagency.com/services)(taken from the Celebrity Branding Package Website, where they actually teach how to deceive people) (Step #6: Strategy Call & implementation ProgramWe show you how to use your new "trust triggers" to maximize your positioning as the market and industry influencer, increase credibility and trust in the minds of prospects and clients or patients, stand out from the competition, making picking you the easiest decision for your prospects The "Amazon BEST SELLING books" are part of the package as wellReset Strategies offers GUARENTEES on their website, as well Twitter, AND all their promotional information, WITH NO FINE PRINT, or disclaimersWhen we asked for our money back, *** *** told us he would not "honor" the guarantee because we had not given them DAYS WRITTEN noticeOur meeting ended with *** *** saying he was sorry they didn't meet our expectationsEnd of storyPerhaps the Celebrity Branding Package should include a chapter on ethics, because this business is truly lacking in any sort of honesty and ethical practices.Below are two things they actually have on their website. There's a joke, in business, that consultants are like Seagulls or pigeonsThey fly in, Crap on everything, and then fly away.1) How often are business owners promised superior results by well-intentioned, but often misguided, marketing or advertising advice?2) When that advice doesn't result in the promise or assurances the business was given what do the marketing companies or ad agencies risk? Nothing; the client paid all of the money and took the biggest riskDoes that sound fair?We have filed a Advertising complaint with the Kentucky Attorney General, as well as the Federal Trade Commission

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I adamantly reject everything RESET STRATEGIES provided in their response. We DID NOT sign a 2 year contract, but rather an ANNUAL RETAINER, with the terms being: "We ask for a commitment of ONE YEAR, even though the plans are 2-3 year plans. If you are not completely tickled and thrilled at any time you can, with a 30 day notice , exit from the relationship without incurring any more fees" (NO MENTION OF A WRITTEN NOTICE)The EXCERPT from them in the Revdex.com complaint was never given to us. I've never seen it before. Their "plan" was for us to give away our product with a COUPON in order to attract new customers and bring back old customers. This "cookie cutter" approach was not what our business needed, and it actually hurt us by cheapening our brand. We went to them because our business was slow, and heading into the slowest season. They offered a guarantee and there is no "fine print or disclaimers anywhere on their site, or on the retainer we signed. We paid RESET STRATEGIES a total of $14,700.00 in cash and food, as well as giving away over $3,000.00 of our product for a total of $17,700.00, invested over a period of 4 months. For this we received no return. When we told them it wasn't working there was no offer of help. All they were concerned about was when we could make the next payment. In examining their business, I realize they have no real credentials, and all the grandiose boasting on the website is the result of a purchased "CELEBRATY BRANDING PACKAGE" . (http://www.celebritybrandingagency.com/services) (Step #6: Strategy Call & Implementation Program We show you how to use your new "trust triggers" to maximize your positioning as the market and industry influencer, increase credibility and trust in the minds of prospects and clients or patients, stand out from the competition, making picking you the easiest decision for your prospects. The "Amazon BEST SELLING books" are part of the package as well. We were basically conned by Reset Strategies because of the false advertizing on the website, and would never have gone to them in the first place if they hadn't offered a guarantee. Telling us they would not "honor" the guarantee because we had not given them 30 days WRITTEN notice is dishonesty at the highest level. Our meeting ending with [redacted] saying he was sorry they didn't meet our expectations. Even the quote from my email in their response is deceptive. I explained to them in the beginning of the email that none of their plans had worked, and the reasons why...adding that maybe we were too far gone (after following their plan). We have filed a False Advertising complaint with the Kentucky Attorney General, as well as the Federal Trade Commission Because they refuse to return our money, we will begin a lawsuit against them.
