from all public organization data exports.It is important to note that the individual organizations and users have complete control over what Information is shared with the adoption listing websites like ***First, the user selects what contact information should be public during the siprocess before their account is approvedAlso, at any time, the user can change what information is publicI have enclosed the policies and the options that are available to all usersFor example, the user has the option to prevent the organization email address from being exportedRegarding the statement that the user, *** ***, did not request an account for her organization, *** ** *** ***, *** ** *** *** Monrovia, CA ***, we find that claim to be falseThe account was requested by *** *** and *** *** *** on July 21, at 3:PM EasternIn addition, *** *** has direct email contact with our support staff on several occasionsI have enclosed copies of those emails which show that Catherine was in contact with us, and not only aware that an account was created, but had purposely selected that the organization email address she provided was to be made publicIn summary:The email address *** has been removed from account ***The account *** is not exporting to any adoption listing websitesThe user did in fact request an account with ***, contrary to the user's StatementThe user selected on their sirequest to make the email address *** publicly searchableThe user had control at all times to hide/remove the email address mentionedWe are certainly disappointed that *** *** has taken this approach to resolve an issue that is apparently a simple misunderstandingRegardless, we believe that we have completed the “Desired Outcome/Settlement" as stated by her in the letter, and we consider this issue to be closedIf for any reason there is additional concerns, please contact me at the address aboveBest,Richard S
