The customer's second check for $was received this week and accepted as payment in full The late payment penalty was waived In response to the allegations about our company, Republic Parking spent over $3,last year to add signs and color coded stalls with restricted use to reduce the number of parking notices There are 48"x48" signs posted at each entrance to the facility and an additional six 31"x30" signs with the same message on them about the use of stalls in the lot posted throughout the parking lot in the landscape islands Photos of these signs are attached Interestingly enough, the customer parked within feet of the pay box as evidenced in the first attached photo where the pay box (circled) can be seen behind the customer's vehicle. The customer's claim of sending the first check cannot be substantiated We never received, have no record of it, and the customer cannot provide evidence that we did receive it It would counterproductive to hold checks just for goal of making a payment late Furthermore, there is no evidence in our call log or notes associated with the customer's parking notice that the customer every contacted us

Hello, I spoke with the manager, and he said that he has spoken to the customer to resolve the issue Thank You

I don’t think the attendant knew that she came from our lotAlso there is many signs in our lot that tells you where to pay and I think the charge of $which is what she should have paid is fair *** ***Republic Parking NWOperations Manager for Boise Idaho

I am sending you pictures of the truck parked on the lot to prove that it was parked there. I also checked with the City of Boise and they agreed that the owner of the vehicle is responsible for the tickets. Also the signs on the lot say if no pay you will be ticketed or towed. It also is her...

problem to find out who was driving the truck. There is no way we can get that info. So if she pays it before it goes to collections, we will expect $35.00 and mark it paid in full.

Good Afternoon,Thank you for your letter of complaint. I have read over the customer's statement thoroughly and would like to offer our response. The parker had parked at Deaconess Hospital and upon driving into the garage the attendant told him to go ahead and park. It was late, and our attendants...

booth was closing up. Typical protocol for this scenario, when the booth is closed, is to allow the patient/visitor to park, and then we issue what is called a "Parking Due" to vehicles in the garage for the cost of daily parking. With this notice we include a pre-addressed envelope for patients to remit payment or a hospital validation. Mr. [redacted] states that he was told to not worry about the validation and to go ahead and park. Our attendants typically let all parkers know that they can receive validation for their parking inside the hospital. Mr. [redacted] had received his parking due during his hospital visit and later paid the notice online in the amount of $3.00. If you choose to remit payment online, the system charges a $2.50 convenience fee, which is made known before completing the payment. We have discussed talking to our employees at the hospital to ensure they are letting patients know they can receive a validation inside the hospital. If Mr. [redacted] had called our office, or emailed regarding the confusion of his parking due, it is our best practice to accept a hospital validation over the phone, due to the scenario. This would have marked the notice as VOID and paid his parking for the day. We make sure to include our address, phone number and email address on all notices that are issued, in case there are any questions. We felt our emailed response to Mr. [redacted] was simply just explaining the process, a refund was never requested at this point, We apologized to Mr. [redacted] for his troubles but did let him know that he had many avenues to use if had questions or wanted to make a payment free of charge. We stress our customer service at Republic Parking N.W. and are sorry that Mr. [redacted] is upset with the employee interaction and the online convenience fee.  We received Mr. [redacted]s home address in the Revdex.com complaint and we would like to mail a check out for the full $5.50, to ensure our customers are nothing but happy with the service we provide.  We hope that this will clear up any frustrations. Please see the attached communication with Mr. [redacted] for further information. If there are any other questions or concerns, Please let us know. Thank you for your time, [redacted]AdministrationRepublic Parking N.W. To whom it may concern,

I am in receipt of the complaint filed by Mr. [redacted] In response to the inability to get ahold of us, he is accurate . Our phone system has been down for a couple of weeks and it has been an extremely difficult process to have it reinstated and get our phone...

numbers back,as a result of a miscommunication between two phone companies. For that, Iapologize . His email was sent to our ticket inbox that takes a couple days to process and send to the correct city manager .
In response to his request to have the $30.00 ticket payment refunded, I am unable to do so as the ticket was valid . The day Mr.[redacted] parking on our property, there was a payment of $14.00 required in advance . I have attached photos of the signs throughout the parking lot indicating the patron would need to check the collection box (parking meter) for the availability of parking. Had Mr. [redacted] checked the collection box, it would have indicated a $14.00 payment to be due and then for him to display his receipt on his dash. These instructions were not followed, resulting in the $30.00 ticket written by my attendant that evening.
Please feel free to contact me with any further questions or concerns,my cell phone number and direct email are listed below.
