As per requested by cust to remove and replace alternatorperformed operation. found prior to service intake ductile boot materiel was separating / damagedi was not the cause of the damage the cause of the alternator failure was severe oil leak in alternator area I did informed the cust
of the leak and I am not the cause of the oil leak I repaired the vehicle as per mechanical repairs instructions I am not responsible for any additional repairs or per existing condition
I am rejecting this response because: I am not saying that you're responsible for pre-existing conditions on my car that's obvious I am saying that you should have told me that I had an oil leak that made my alternator go bad and you should of told me that of I were to replace the alternator I wouldn't have a warranty that's only fair all mechanic shops called the customer to inform them about any other situations going on with their car before proceeding with the repair to give the customer an option and to give the customer a heads up you did not give me a choice you didn't give me an option you just simply did the repair so that you can get your 500 plus dollarsAnd didn't tell me until I was at the counter paying for the repairs that I didn't have a warranty it would have been the professional thing to do it would have gave me an option to get the oil leak fixed first also I noticed in your statement that you did not mention the fact that you stole a part off of my car that had nothing to do with the repairs without even telling menow I have to buy that part for my car because you completely damaged it it was perfectly fine before coming to your shop that just is mind-boggling why would you take off my intake holes and don't tell me there was absolutely nothing wrong with it I had to pop the hood of my car and notice it on my own and when I called you you told me you took it off because it was messed up first of all no it was not second of all it was not your place to take anything off of my car you owe me for my intake hose and I feel that you guys owe me so that I can get my oil leaks fixed which I would have done first if you gave me the option
