This company did not use the proper equipment to install my deck. The screws used barely went through the deck board. Instead ofspending less than $20 to buy new screws, they continually used screws that were too short. My two-year old daughter pulled several of the wood slats out with one hand because the screws were so short. There are several of the deck boards that are loose. This includes the STEPS to and from the house. Again, the problem is that the screws used were barely long enough. The wood slats were split upon install. They did not drill pilot holes. Instead, they simply lined the board up and drilled all the way through the wood, splitting every wood slat. When I called to discuss this issue, I was promised on two separate occasions that someone would be out to fix it. I received an answer to my requests only after I called WEEKS later to follow-up. Noone ever came to my house. I have never received a call back. I hope that if you have small children you consider this information. I have alot of work to do on this deck before my daughter or any other small child will be allowed to set foot on it. Please note that I am not requesting a refund or even additional service on this request. My goal is to prevent injuries to small children and even adults.
