You rented Professional Nursing Practice: Concepts and Perspectives, by Blais, 7th Edition from us on order number [redacted] however we instead received Introduction To Nursing Research: Incorporating Evidence Based Practice, by Boswell, 3rd Edition. Our records indicate that you were charged the cost to purchase your rental. The terms and conditions agreed to at the time of purchase stated that you will be charged the difference in the price you paid and the price to purchase outright if the book is not received within 20 days after the due date. You pay a discounted price to rent the book and if the book is not returned, this nullifies the discount received and the cost to purchase the book is charged. items submitted to Bookbyte that are determined to be illegally obtained or
printed will be surrendered to the proper authorities (i.e., law enforcement,
publishers, or retailers).”We will not
be paying for this book directly but a separate courtesy payment of $46.50 is

I contacted the company numerous times by email regrading the payment they were supposed to of issued to me on the 14th of January 2016, I was instructed to email them after the 30 day period if no check was received. Im filing this complaint to bring the attention to the company of my request that I emailed them today, 22 February 2016. Within that email I requested the previously received check to be cancelled and another to be issued to me along with a tracking number so I may track the checks progress to its delivery to my place of residence. your order was delayed because when you created it there were 2 books on the order. When it arrived, only one book was received. The order remained open as we were waiting for the 2nd book to arrive. Since we have not received it, I have requested the payment be expedited for the 1 book today. Please note that the original quote for the Algebra textbook was $44.00. Please allow 3-7 days for your check to arrive. It is being mailed out today via first class mail.

You are correct. Our customer support supervisor is waiving the $10 late fee. You will receive a refund for that cost to purchase charge once the return has been received and processed.

The return instructions that you were provided with on Amazon.com stated different policies. Amazon.com allows a 30 day return timeframe and applies a 20% restocking fee for orders that were shipped as described. This policy was displayed at the time you submitted a return request through Amazon and is shown on their Help pages. Had the order been placed directly on our website, we would have refunded according to the Bookbyte.com policy which allows for a full refund of the purchase price upon return however the order was placed on Amazon.com therefore the return policy is different for your order. Despite those policies, our records indicate that an exception was made and a refund was processed for a remainder of your order on 12.19.2016.
