Rent-A-Husband Handyman Service

We hired [redacted] to remove our old kitchen cabinets , mount and install new cabinets (lower and Upper ) install counter tops and install sink and hook up plumbing. The work was started on Nov. 5th 2013. The upper cabinets were installed incorrectly and not mounted together. Mr [redacted] damaged them during installation. The lower cabinets were installed but not mounted together. Mr [redacted] told us on Wed 11-06 that he could not install the butcher block counter top and to get another contractor to do this job and he would come back and install the sink and hook up the plumbing. We paid Mr [redacted] $1150 and he agreed to come back after counter top installed to complete the job. I called Mr [redacted] on Thur. 11-7 and Fri 11-08 to have him come back and finished the job. We never heard from Mr [redacted] until Sat 11-09 and he left a voice message. We told Mr [redacted] that since he could not install the counter top and the cabinets were installed incorrectly and he left us without water that we no longer needed his service. We had to hire another contractor Mr [redacted] to rehang the cabinets properly and mount and install the counter top and hook up sink and plumbing. We had to pay Mr [redacted] $1050 to complete the job. We will never use Mr [redacted] for any work and will not recommend his services to any friends and family. He is not qualified to do any major home repairs or remodeling. Yes he did 2 small jobs outside such as gutter cleaning and siding rehung. He did a poor job on replacing our front steps. We want to make a complaint against Mr [redacted] because of his poor workmanship and he refused to refund money paid for services not completed.
