Renoviso

I purchased windows through Hirehaven/Renoviso (which was their previous name). Right from the beginning I was guaranteed that everything would be taken care of from start to finish. I emphasized this repeatedly and with several different members of the staff who work there. There were many issues with the installation ranging from delivering the windows early and just leaving them by a tree outside my building, to breaking things within my unit, to leaving a mess outside including sharp objects (where children play), to not doing a good job in general. I worked with them on all these issues, and there more many more, but ultimately I gave them the final payment after they fixed these things. In November, I contacted them showing them pictures of the job and how badly it has weathered in less than a year. Their response was that it was my job to paint the windows to seal them against the weather and that they would not stand behind their work. I asked to speak to the supervisor in order to rectify the situation (several times) and I was told that the supervisor/CEO said "It's common knowledge that you should paint the window sills after installation". I would not have known this as they looked good when they were first installed. The supervisor/CEO never called me or talked to me about this which says something right there. Again one of my original reasons for hiring them was the fact that they told me they would handle everything for me, and that I would not be responsible for any work myself (which I did have to clean up after them several times alone). Hence paying them $4700.00, a premium price for the small amount of work they did. It is extremely bad form not to talk to a dissatisfied customer, as I wasn't asking for much and told them that. I have now given them over 6 weeks to respond.
