Review: We paid [redacted] nearly $22,000 to repair the basement from a lightning strike which lead to a flood. In addition install a bathroom. [redacted] and I had a contract agreement for the work to be performed and he did not complete the work for which we compensated him almost entirely. In addition much of the work is unsatisfactory and we have received quotes from several contractors stating it would cost upwards of $10,000 to repair his work and complete the job. I have contacted [redacted] on several occasions, he finally returned an email stating he was out of the state and didn't know when he would be returning. He told me to keep the remaining money ~1800.00 and find someone else to complete the job. I informed him that there was way more to be finished than $1800.00, I never heard from him again.Desired Settlement: [redacted] refund $10,000, the cost of repair needed to complete the job. These estimates are based on three contract estimates.
