I received services in September of 2015 and made a payment of the full amount of the services during that visit. I received an explanation of benefits from [redacted] in November that made me aware that I overpaid by $52.40. I called Reno Diagnostic Center in November (2015)and spoke to their billing department. I was told that they were waiting on the Explanation of Benefits from [redacted] and that's why they hadn't paid me up to that point, but that now they had it so they could now process my refund. I called in January of 2016 and was told that a refund hadn't been processed yet, but they reassured me that they were working on it and that I should be receiving my refund within another two week period. I was reassured each time that they would be processing the credit and that I would be receiving a payment of $52.40 within a two week period, and told was told to call back after if I don't receive anything. I still have not received my refund. I called RDC billing department again today on 7/22/16 and the billing rep told me they hadn't received the EOB from [redacted] the last time I called and that they weren't able to process the payment until now. I had to argue with her and explain to her that the service was for September of 2015 and that they did receive the EOB. I knew that because the reps I spoke to previously confirmed that they had in fact received it and that they would process my payment each time. I was told today to give it another couple weeks to receive the payment of $52.40 and to call back later if I don't receive it.Desired SettlementI want them to process my refund and return the $52.40 that they have owed me since November of last year.Business Response Thank you for your letter dated August 9, 2016 notifying us of this complaint. Customer service is a top priority at Reno Diagnostic Centers and we take all customer feedback very seriously. We have initiated an investigation into the events described in the complaint and because we use a third party vendor for billing/refunds, we are awaiting their documentation in order to proceed. I was able to confirm, however, that a refund in the amount of $61.26 was issued and was mailed to the address on file on Aug 8, 2016.
