Wanting to come fixed a New Window that has a defect which they came to repair (6) six times with (2) two different crews for a total of 19 hours. [redacted] himself was supposed to come and instead he decided to send me (2) two other Experts to my house who couldn't even decided or agree on what to do with the New Window. One Gentlemen want to put more weather strips or foam. The other gentlemen stated" if I do that he won't be able to open the windows"!!!! The Windows are defected and the gentlemen stated that they have to called the factory but I stated that " Andersen Renewal" is the factory according to there advertisement!!! Andersen renewal is not trying to solved the situation they're just prolonging the issue. I would like to know where did they pickup customer services skills a Defected window is not a New Window and Definitely Not worth $5200.00 ; furthermore I received a letter and a phone called to services a new window. A new window doesn't need to be services (6) six times and at no given time did a technician come to my home!!! Unless the company is in the habit of sending technician to people home without confirming a date or time . Unacceptable.

resolve the window issue. Renewal by Andersen will resolve this given the opportunity Please assist us in accomplishing this. Thank You [redacted]
Dealing with this company was my worst experience ever. I had their price quotations for windows installations in 2012 and 2013. I did not like the price and did not like sales pressure and tactics was applied by sales representative. So this year I’m in major renovation and decided again call them to get a price and get window installed. After they found they were in my home 2 times, they refused to send sales representative, offering give me price over the phone and repeating 5 – 7 time during 3 minute conversation that they had 2 times price adjustment and if I’m ready to commit to purchase. I spoke with 2 sales manages refusing to send representative, when I asked them to send me quote my email, since they know all my window sizes and information on the window and new options, their manager told she will do by end of the day, but nothing came. This windows are THE most expensive on the market, cost over $1200 per basic window without any options, but the customer service THE worst I ever seen. If I was getting this kind of service before I open my valet, I can imagine what I will get when they will get my money.
My recommendation – do not use them, do not call them, let them call you and beg for business.
Customer service – F-.
Review: Mr. John L[redacted] came to my home on 9/**/15 and quoted me a price to replace 14 windows. The next week the tech was at my home measuring the windows. That night I saw a commercial stating that they were offering a 20% discount. I called John that morning and got his voicemail. I left a message asking for him to return my call so he can tell me about the discount. When he finally called me back he told me that he gave me the discount. I told him that I didn't see it in the paperwork anywhere. He started yelling, screaming and cursing at me and my husband. He proceeded to hang up on me. I spent the next couple of days calling the main office leaving messages for John, the general manager Paul P[redacted] and the salesman supervisor Michael S[redacted]. Each time telling them that I wanted to cancel my order. When I finally spoke to John he told me at this point it may now be to late to cancel the windows. He said that we would have to speak to the people in the manufactures office to see if they started the job already. He was to call me to noon on 10/**. When he did he said the general manger was in a meeting and was unable to answer his questions about canceling the account . I'd get a call back by 2:30 pm. That never happened. After getting no where with Renewal I called the financial instituions who approved my loans, [redacted] and Foundation financial about canceling the loans with Renewal. But $5000 was already given to Renewal by [redacted]. I told them that I'm canceling the order and they they needed to get the money back. I spoke to Barbara who informed me that an email would be sent on 10/** to the accounting dept as well as the general manager about me canceling. As of today 10/** nobody from Renewal has taken my calls. I'm being shuffled between all the customer service reps who have no idea how to contact the general manager and keep sending me to voicemail. I have left I don't know how many messages clearly stating I want to cancel my order.Desired Settlement: I want to make sure that my credit is not effected by this. I also want to make sure that Renewal is NOT paid for this.

Review: Purchased 3 windows from renewal by anderson, since the our purchase, we have had issues with drafty windows, leading to colder rooms in the home. We have called several times to get the problem fixed. They have replaced 1 window but the issues still persist. Recently we again requested someone to come out, the tech told us that the draft was normal and that the windows were design to allow a reasonable amount of air through. The windows are not energy efficient and the workmanship has been less than mediocre. We continue to call to get a remedy, however their seems to be no solution to the problem.Desired Settlement: I'm not doing this for money or a refund. I made the purchase as a home improvement and to ensure my family remained warm, and now my kids have to sleep in heavy PJS because of the windows. I will like the windows, replaced so there is no cold air seeping through. If the windows cannot be fix, then I believe it's only justified that we are refunded due to anderson not being able to uphold their garantee.

Review: On 3/**/15 I ordered replacement windows for my bedroom. The sales rep told me that they would be custom windows to fit my existing opening. On 4/**/15 my windows were installed as 3 separate units with large gaps between each window. I questioned the installer why there was such a large vertifical area of trim between each window since they were supposed to be custom and he said that these are NOT custom windows. He proceeded to finish. I immediately called the sales rep [redacted] and texted him photos of the finished window. Because of the big vertical trim between each window and the overall clunky framing I have lost about 20% visibility to the outdoors through my windows. He never called me back. I called customer service to complain. No one ever called me back. I gave them a bad review online and the next day I got a call that they would like to send someone out to take a look. On 4/** a rep came to remeasure my windows and agreed to make new bottom sashes without the grills. On May [redacted] I called to follow up since I had not heard a word from the company. They told me that my name was not in their system so they couldn't help me. I disputed the charge with my credit card company. In the meantime, I don't want the windows at ALL. If I cannot get any response now what would happen if something goes wrong with them and I need repair or service? Obviously the warranty would mean nothing. I do not want the windows and want a refund. I have spent way too many hours writing about this, making phone calls, disputing with my credit card, etc.Desired Settlement: I don't want the windows at ALL.
