Renewal by Andersen of Greater Michigan

Renewal by Andersen of Greater Michigan is totally lacking in customer service, and their products are very expensive. I had a problem with my entry and storm doors after installation. I had to call several times before I got any help. They do not return your calls. I keep having problems with the doors. The latest problem was with a storm door that nearly fell apart when I tried to pull the screen down last year (2014). After calling several times they finally sent someone out to look at the door. He was not able to fix it. After months of not hearing anything, I called them again in the fall. I was told that they had ordered a new door for me. After not hearing anything from them all winter, I called them again on April 13th. I asked for the same person I had talked to previously and he told me he had no record of our previous conversation (which is not unusual), and that they no longer sell or service that particular door. I have been very patient with these people, but at that point I blew a gasket. After giving him a piece of my mind, he referred me to the manufacturer of the door, ProVia. I'm hopeful that ProVia will have some integrity and do the right thing.
