ReNew roofing started my job in July of 2017. It is 11/20/2017 today. They refuse to come and complete the job they started. Extremly shoddy workmanship. They refuse to answer phone calls and text messages. The roof needs to be re-done in places, there is Fascia that has not been repaired yet and bare wood is exposed. They have to replace soffit which they dented. There is siding and J-Channel that needs to be replaced.
We have never once refused to complete the job for ***. He suffered storm damage and this is an insurance job. Insurance jobs are never quick, they drag out for many months. The roof has been replaced already and there is nothing wrong with the roof. *** has not once tried to contact the direct office or me for any concerns. He does have my contact information. There are some siding repairs that need to be made yet, and it was scheduled with *** yesterday 11/20/2017 to come out tomorrow 11/22/2017 to go and complete those repairs. If a client has concerns and can't get a hold of their sales rep, then they should contact the main office. This was not done. And all repairs will be done tomorrow 11/22/2017, so there is no basis for this complaint.
Renew roofing states I did not try and contact their main office. I have called that number 3 times and got an answering machine all three times. I left messages all three times and was never called back. I sent Mike *** text messages on two different occasions and respectfully asked that the owner of Renew come out so that I may speak with him about this job. Mr. stated that he would not come out. I then asked for the owners phone number so that I may call him, I was told I could not have his number. Mr *** states in his reply to you that I have not contacted him about this job, which I have on numerous days. He also states that this is an ins***ce job which can drag on for months. My insurance company settled this very quickly and I have had all the money in my bank account since July. There is no other way to say this but Renew roofing is flat out lying in their response to the complaint I made. I have all text messages I have exchanged with Mr. since July. I had to replace a window by myself because Renew roofing did not and it was a part of this claim. The workmanship on the roof is not professional and the edges are not strait. Renew roofing went as far as asking if I had extra siding on hand for my house so they would not have to order it.
We did not receive any phone calls from *** on our main line. We have the phone records to prove this. We received a call from him back in October and when we received that call, we sent Mike *** out to discuss any issues. The roof was replaced per our contract and there are no issues with the roof. I would recommend *** contact John *** who is an Owens Corning Representative and does product installation inspections. We installed an Owen's Corning roof and he would be the appropriate third party inspector to take a look at the roof. His number is . As for the window, I am unsure what was discussed between him and Mike *** his sales rep, but I have no issues with removing that line item from his invoice. In regards to the siding, it is not uncommon for a contractor to ask the property owner if they have any extra siding on hand, especially if it is a discontinued product, which this was. Mr. siding was discontinued, and our contract with him was to only replace a few pieces that were damaged. Since his siding was discontinued, we were struggling trying to locate this siding from any suppliers. This is when we asked him if he happened to have some on hand. We did eventually end up locating some at a supplier in Madison, WI. Not exactly close by. But locating and obtaining this siding, did take some time. The final repairs have been started, the remaining material is coming in tomorrow 11-28-17 and we will be finishing those repairs this week.
Excellent contractor to work with. Answered all my questions, put all my fears at rest. I had a major insurance claim from the recent storms and Renew helped me every step of the way.
