ReNew Home Designs Reviews (%countItem)

If I am giving a two start review to the company is because that is all they deserve.
One start is for the sales agent Mike F
One start is for the crew that came to change my roof.
Te customer service of Renovations Home Designs is in existent.
1. Phone calls are never answered. If you are lucky enough that somebody gets in the line the answers are generic and in a hurry to get raid of you.
2. Same situation with the emails. They have no follow up either a confirmation that they read the mail.
3. The direct phone for Sarah or Gary who are supposed to be in Operations.Customer Services is unavailable and their mail boxes are full.

The initial process was clear and smooth. The crew that came was diligent and did their job.

However, as soon as the hot season started we noticed that the attic fan was out of order and needed to be replace. When we contact our broker Mr. Mike F, he immediately took the info and indicated that he will pass it to the Operation Department. The Company indicated that they needed and email fro us with pictures of the fan, which we send. On June 4, Mr. F informed us that in 24 to 48 hours and inspector will be sent to follow up. The inspector never show up. The emails were never acknowledge.

Finally, we took matters in our hands and have the fan replace. The company that replace the roof found a big the damage on the plywood roof. Rain water comes from the opening around the attic fan that the installer of the roof did not seal at the moment of the installation. Again, I repeat: When the roof was installed the crew missed to seal the sides of the fan which resulted in leaking water and damaged the the board.

As of today June 25, 2020 we sent pictures and report about this problem. Mr. F contacted his company and informed that the Customer service staff indicated that they did have my mails and pictures and that are working to sent an inspector to verify the damages.

As today I have no case number no date either time for the Inspector to come to verify the poor job that their contractors did on my 21k roof.

That is why my review of the company is ZERO STARTS.

A salesperson came to my front door and wouldn't leave even after I pointed out my prominent "no solicitation" sign. He insisted my roof was leaking (it's not) and after I finally got him to leave he came back and stuck a flyer in my door (again, trespassing to solicit)

ReNew replaced my roof last week. Rick D came out and inspected my roof. Very through inspection. He showed me pictures of areas where the roof was leaking. We discussed several options, and I followed his recommendation. Great job from beginning to end. Thank you Rick.

Donna, thank you for the kind words. Rick is a valued member of the team and we are happy that we were able to meet your expectations. Thanks for your business!

Recently had new roof and gutters installed by Renew. Justin H, project manager, visited us and explained the process and choices. We were very impressed with his sincerity and expertise. He also remained in contact with us from start to finish including final inspection. Gary and Sara were also very attentive. The subcontractors they use are highly skilled, polite and friendly. I would highly recommend this company to others looking for a licensed roofing company.

Hello David. I am very happy to hear that you had a great experience with all members of the team. Thank you for choosing ReNew!

Renew Home Designs did an excellent job all the way from sales to installation and cleanup. Rick D answered all of our questions about materials, pricing, and workmanship, and he walked us through the entire process. Installation day went off without a hitch, and the cleanup was amazing. There were no nails, no trash, no roofing scraps, no anything. Just a beautiful new roof, installed in a single day, with a lifetime warranty. Job well done!

Hello Gerald. We appreciate you taking the time to leave us feedback. Thanks again for your business and please let us know if there is anything we can do for you moving forward.

ReNew Home Designs put a new roof on our house last week. Justin H, the Project Manager, was polite, helpful, and responsive when we had questions and when we needed help in getting the solar panels temporarily removed from our old roof. Other staff were helpful in getting the roof installation scheduled. The roofers arrived on time, were very polite and cooperative, and finished the job in one day. They cleaned up so well that I couldn't even tell they'd been there! My husband and I were very pleased with the result.

ReNew Home Designs Response • Feb 28, 2020

Hello Susan. Roofs with Solar can be a challenge but we work with them all the time. I appreciate you sharing your experience and thanks for being a great customer!

Great company. Great Customer service. Quality work. Easy and thorough process.

ReNew Home Designs Response • Feb 28, 2020

Thanks Mr. B. We genuinely appreciate the feedback.

Rick D, the salesman, is well spoken, friendly, knowledgeable. Company did what they promised. Roof is great. They cleaned up completely. Highest recommendation @

ReNew Home Designs Response • Feb 28, 2020

Thank you for your business as well as your feedback Mr. D. Please let us know if we can be of service in the future.

I had my roof replaced back in September. My drywall was cracked, I've contacted them in several occasions for repair only to receive no call back.
Roof was replaced Sep 30th. Roof was financed unknown company due to Renew never providing that information as well.

Desired Outcome

I would like the company to fix my drywall and provide my warranty as well as financing company so I can pay it off and move forward.

ReNew Home Designs Response • Jan 28, 2020

We thank Ms. Watkins to reaching out to the Revdex.com. We spoke to her a few times in the weeks following her installation but had not heard from her for a few months afterward. We had played phone tag. We now have a date scheduled for the owner to meet with her personally to review the minor drywall repairs that need to be made.

We would like to point out that we have not charged Ms. Watkins anything for the roof since its our policy not to charge a customer until all of the work is completed. Her financing term has not begun and will not until she is 100% happy. Again, we appreciate her reaching out to complete payment and schedule the drywall patch.

Failure to respond to several requests to inspect newly installed roof for loose nails noticed on the roof deck.
My roof was replaced in March 2018 for approximately $17K (monthly installment payments of $237 with a 50-yr warranty). In May 2019, I noticed four loose nails on the deck of the roof (but there could be more). I contacted the service department (via 410-415-1395) to advise of the nails. I was advised to take photos of the nails and send to the company which I did. Since no one returned my call, I contacted the company again on 3 and 5 June 2019 via phone to check status on initial request. The company representative, Ryan, acted as though they did not receive the previously sent photos. Therefore, the photos requested were resent. I called for confirmation of receipt and the company representative said I would be contacted within several days to schedule an appointment but that never happened. My last call made was in October 2019 and once again I received the the same response from another company representative stating they would get back to me. To date, there has been no follow up phone call from the company to resolve my customer concern.

Desired Outcome

Seeking company roofer to return to our residence to ascertain if there is any damage to the new roof, e.g. additional loose nails (than those seen) and or loose tiles.

ReNew Home Designs Response • Dec 12, 2019

I have reviewed this file and all associated photographs. The pictures that you sent us show a perfect roof with correctly attached and spaced shingles. They show two old rusty nails on top of the roof that appear to have come out of a gutter left over from your old roof. You also asked us to install a new section of gutter for you despite the fact that you did not have us install new gutters on your home. We have taken your calls and repeatedly thanked you for your business. Your roof has been installed for over 18 months and is in excellent working order. It has not leaked, or malfunctioned in any way whatsoever. We registered your warranty with the manufacturer and have fulfilled your order in every way possible. We have installed over 5,000 roofs. And as we explained to you, we do not send technicians out to verify that properly functioning roofs with no apparent or visible defects are in good working order at no charge. No company does this. If there is a problem, we will, of course remedy any issue at no charge, but this roof is perfect. We have explained this numerous times. At this point, it would appear that this complaint is designed to use the Revdex.com to get us to perform gutter work at no charge. We have forwarded the Revdex.com the emails about the gutters and showing that the roof in in perfect condition. Again, we thank you for your business and will always come out and service any problem at no cost, but, as we have said, there is nothing to fix on this home.

They have not refunded the deposit checks for the windows and siding that they NEVER scheduled and we can't get them to communicate with us.
I sent the letter below on 9/5/19, registered to the address in the letter. I found that was just a mail drop and not their physical location. Anyway, I think the letter is self-explanatory. We do have our copies of the contract and we can get copies of the cancelled checks, if needed.

ReNew Home Designs

Dear Sir,

We signed three contracts with your company on 4/26/19 with your sales representative. Each contract had an approximate start date of 4-6 weeks from date of signing, which would have been 6/7/19, with a completion date two days later, 6/9/19.

Our roof contract was completed in a timely and satisfactory manner and was paid for as follows:
Check # Date Amount Memo
1036 4/26/19 $2519 Roof Deposit
1039 5/9/19 $5970 Balance for roof including $90 for plywood patch
$8489 Roof Paid In Full

We also wrote deposit checks for siding & windows, etc... :

1034 4/26/19 $2100 Siding Deposit
1035 5/7/19 $4946 Siding Deposit
1037 4/26/19 $1000 Window Deposit
1038 5/7/19 $1876 Window Deposit
$9922 Outstanding Deposit
The windows and siding were not only never done, we couldn't even get anyone from your company to call us back. Both my husband John and I tried to make a few calls to Ivan, the salesperson. We then tried calling the main number on the card to get information on when the rest of the work would be done.
8/1/19 John called and was shunted to voicemail again

8/2/19 I tried to go to ReNew's physical address, which we thought was on the card, but it turned out to be a mail drop. I called ReNew and spoke with Ryan again. I expressed my extreme dissatisfaction with their company.

Also, on same day, Jared, who identified himself as ReNew's president called my husband before I even got home. He said he was going to look into our issue personally and call us back ASAP.

8/7/19 Since we hadn't heard from Jared, I called the office and when Ryan tried to put me into voice mail, I told him not to bother. I asked him to just tell Jared we wanted a refund of our deposits. He said he would give him the message.

8/20/19 I called and asked Ryan why we didn't have our money yet. He said he would give the message to Jared. In the meantime, I told him I would send an email to Jared requesting the refund.

8/21/19 I sent the email to ***.com with the same outline as stated above.

At this time, we have yet to receive our money back and cannot move forward with our home improvements. Please remit the balance of our deposits $9,922 by 9/25/19.

Our next step will be to engage a lawyer and sue you for breach of contract, failure to deliver, legal fees, etc.... Since you are obviously in breach of contract for failure to perform, forcing us to take legal action would just cost you more needlessly.

If you have any questions regarding this please contact me immediately at 443-277-6142. We would like to conclude this unpleasantness as quickly as possible.

This letter got no response. I don't really have much hope that you will have luck getting our money back from them but maybe you could recommend next steps?
Maybe the type of lawyer to look for?

any help you can give is greatly appreciated including dropping this company's rating!

Desired Outcome

Refund our deposits

ReNew Home Designs Response • Dec 10, 2019

I have looked into this matter and our records indicate that we mailed a check but it was not cashed. Upon learning that the check was not cashed, we cancelled the old check and reissued a check for the amount of the previous check. We want to point out that we were able to install the project. We had delays on our end based on the supply of the material that our customer selected. Since the delays were not our customers fault, we did not object to them cancelling their order after the legally allowed period and we refunded the deposits with an interest addition of $1,000 out of good faith.

The second time that we sent the check we did so using UPS rather than the post office and we have provided the tracking number to the Revdex.com so they and our customers can see that It was delivered.

Thank you.

Poor workmanship and customer response to reported issues on roof installed May 9, 2019. Repeated calls and requests with pictures gone unanswered.
ReNew Home Designs installed a new roof on my home on May 9, 2019. The original date for install was May 8th but I was told the scheduled installation lead had a family member undergoing emergency surgery, so I reluctantly agreed to the May 9th date since it had taken awhile for the company to schedule an installation date.
My reluctance was due to the fact that on the same date I would be undergoing major cancer surgery.

After an overnight stay and returning home I immediately noted ripples along the flashing and gutter damage. I called ReNew and spoke to *** ( who is no longer with the company) and who indicated that the original financing company did not service my area and they had to go with another company that did; which required a new signature. However, unbeknownst to me *** had "shopped" my loan request to several other financial vendors which left my credit score with a substantial hit.

The following week Jared (who apparently is an owner) came to procure the new signature. At that time I showed him the flashing and gutters; he agreed that there did appear to be damage; he took pictures and I took additional pictures. Jared stated he would have a team return for repairs.

To this date I've not seen anyone return to service my issues, despite my repeated calls and pictures sent to the company, and in the ensuing months the roof has undergone additional damage due to the poor workmanship and damage done during the original installation. I have flashing which has blown away from the roof, my gutters are still damaged and now I find the flashing around the newly installed skylights is also coming loose!

I've attempted to resolve this with Sarah, who replaced ***, and who no longer answers my calls and now Jordan both individuals indicate they are forwarding my complaints to Operations. Again, 5 months I've received no call from Operations, and neither Sara or Jordan are able to provide a number to Operations for direct contact by me.

As we enter the winter months I am left with the potential for damage far beyond anything I had originally suffered. The original skylights had begun to leak, upon repair of the roof and new skylights I had the interior surrounding area repaired, apparently the flashing around at least one of them has blown away. The blown away flashing around the roof leaves me open to new water damage.

Desired Outcome

1.Repair/replacement of flashing around all areas of the new roof. 2. New gutters and end caps. 3. Repair/replace flashing around skylights. 3. Inspection and repair of any water damaged wood with before and after pictures provided to me.

I was able to reach out to ***, who no longer works here, to confirm the conversations with Ms..

There are a few issues here to address.

First, I would like to note that I have reviewed every communication and the entire file with all employees involved to find out exactly what happened. This includes personally reviewing every email and picture sent regarding this project.

The main issue seems to be centered around the trim on the sides of the home that blew off months after we installed the roof and, per Ms. communication, this occurred during a "severe thunderstorm." I have attached a copy of the contract to show that the areas mentioned, called "fascia" were not listed on her contract and not worked on by ReNew. In some of the emails and texts that I reviewed, Ms. mistakenly refers to this as "flashing." It is trim, not flashing, and this type of trim is called fascia.

I did reach out to the former employee who was handling the file, and I was able to confirm that this conversation was had multiple times. In other words we have told Ms. that the wind damage that she sustained was not on a part of the home that we worked on, or that we were supposed to have worked on. She did not like this so she went to the Revdex.com. We take no pleasure in saying this, but we cannot come out and perform thousands of dollars of additional work on her home because there was a bad storm. Two courses of action might be to file an insurance claim or get quotes on a trim replacement. This is not a problem with the roof.

Next we have the gutter end caps. I am confused by this since the pictures that we all received (us and Revdex.com) all very clearly show the end caps intact and attached and all of the gutters appear to be intact and functioning correctly. If the gutter end caps are not securely attached, water simply flows out the end of the gutter and no one has mentioned this at any point over the last 6 months that this has been ongoing.

Lastly we have the issue of the skylight flashing, and again, I am very confused. I have reviewed the orders and the satellite measurements of this project. Based on the angle and height of the section of roof that the skylights are installed on, they are literally impossible to see without being over 50 feet in the air. But we are told that the flashing is defective. The roof has been installed for approximately 6 months and we have had a very significant amount of precipitation in this time. Including a storm severe enough to rip large pieces of trim off the sides of the home. Though all of this, the roof has not leaked a drop ofd water. Again, having reviewed every call, message and email, there had never been a single allegation that the new roof we put on has leaked a single drop of water.

We certainly appreciate Ms. business. We do not feel it is our responsibility to replace trim that we didn't install. We don't see anything wrong with the gutters (and we did not install them either). From everything we have heard and seen there is nothing wrong with he skylights and we don't waive our inspection fee to inspect roofs that are not leaking and are functioning properly.

Of course if there's ever an actual problem with the roof that results in a leak, of if someone shows us a picture of an actual problem that we caused, we will be out ASAP and free of charge. That is simply not the case here.

We were contracted to put a new roof on for her and we put on a great one that has been water tight since day one.

I have attached pictures and other written documentation to this email for the review of the local Revdex.com.

Paid $15,000 for roof replacement which was completed in February. By June large sheets of shingles were falling off into the driveway. No response.
Roof installed 2/19, shingles sections began falling off in 6/19.
Shingles literally falling off. Research says they should be fastened with six nails, and the stuff falling off has zero (0) fasteners of any kind. After weeks of not hearing back from the project manager, Gary P, taking to social media got me in touch with someone named Jared who claimed to be the owner and acknowledged that this was the worst job he'd ever seen. This "owner" has since stopped returning phone calls and is not honoring any of the commitments he made to address the issues. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable roofing

Update Day 2- Spoke to someone named Martrez at the office. Asked me a million qualifying questions and refused to let me speak to anyone that might be able to help. He claimed that the Operations Dept was working hard to get someone out to inspect the work, even though Jared A the "CEO" was already out two weeks ago, declared the whole thing a disaster and has been dodging calls and taking zero ownership of his work or his company since.

Customer Response • Oct 24, 2019

In reference tote above case, all issues have been resolved. The owner came out and spoke wth us, the next day a crew was sent out and the defective work was removed and a completely new front was put into place. The job was done in one day and we have no more issues.

Personally we believe the problem was created by rushing thru the last part of the install and then the job foreman lied to cover up. He is no longer with the company.

Thank you for your assistance.
Respectfully

This company exceeded what I thought, this house is over 50 years old and was showing it, but with this face lift (roof and gutters) this old lady looks refreshed. The roofing crew was respectful and hard working. Gave them a 5 star rating but above and beyond.

friday, 7/12/19 I signed a contract to have my roof replaced. The cost would be $10,500 but when I looked at what I signed it was $11,500.
7/12/19 the proposal the Renew salesman wrote up and I agreed to $10,500 to put a roof on my home. What I signed was for $11,50 I found out the next day. He also told me that they have overstock material and could deliver it the Saturday the 13th. I agreed to it but after I saw the change in price I called Renew around 9:30 am to cancel the delivery. I told the person who answered to cancel delivery of material. He said he was a scheduler and had to contact someone in authority and would have them call me back. No one called. I called him back and he said he could not get anyone to answer. I still waited. close to 1 pm my ring alarm went off. I saw 3 men starting to unload a truck. I ran outside and told them to stop what they were doing. A woman was with them looking at a pad. I told her I called and cancelled the delivery. She said Doug told her to bring and the men kept working. I ran to get my cell phone to video tape. I yelled to stop louder and put up my hands in the jester. They ignored me and put down another one. I stood on the ones they managed to get down but they put it down near my feet anyway. The woman then called Doug but got no answer. She showed me the number she called so I called. No one answer. During the proposal and signing Mike, the salesman, told me I had five days to cancel but I'm over 65 so that gives me 7 days to cancel. The next day I got a very angry call from a man saying he was the owner. He was not happy I cancelled and his tone showed it. I told him about the change in payment agreement and he told me I signed it. I said yes I did sign but that is not what the sales person wrote on the proposal and for him to ask Mike about what he wrote on the proposal and why it changed on what I signed. The owner then told me I'm gonna put that roof on. I responded No you are not and hung up the phone. Someone called the next two days but I did not answer. The material has been setting in my driveway since. I sent a text to the owner that the harassment has gone on long enough and to please get his material out of my driveway. He texted me that the material is mine and I'd have to pay 2 thousand and something to remove my material according to paragraph ? section ?? on the agreement. I wrote back I never agreed and would never have agreed to that. I was not going to happen. since then no contact with them.

Desired Outcome

I want them to remove the material because the salesman did not make that change on the contract by accident. during our conversation while he was writing he asked me how often I look at my emails. I said not often. I believe he was counting on me not looking at the email of the contract with the change on it. He also never said anything about Paragraph ? section ?? which would cost me to cancel. I believe No one answered purposely to get rid of inventory. very shady to me. I see they put a roof on someones house for $5000. If they do it for $5000 I will get it installed.

Revdex.com has utilized the business owner's direct email to the Revdex.com caseworker as the formal response to this consumer's concerns.

Good afternoon ***,

I spoke with Ms. this morning and I am happy to report that we came to a positive resolution. We are installing her roof at a reduced price.

She appears to be very happy. Please let me know if there is anything else you need from us to close this complaint on your end.

Thank you,

Jared A

The crew was very professional. They worked well together.cleaned up everything.job was done!!

Nice people very clean. Work on my roof is great. I would recommend this company to everyone. Price is great also.

ReNew Home Designs Response • Mar 28, 2019

Ms. Marshall, Thank you for your kind words. We have a big team working behind the scenes to make sure our customers are happy and it's great to hear their hard work is noticed.

while replacing my roof, the contractors damaged my porch awning by walking on it and placing dents on it. Now, the rain comes in on my head.
I purchased a new roof for approximately $5000 in October 2018 and it was installed. I have no complaints about the quality work of my roof, only the installation process, which caused me to have a dented awning. The contractor that installed the roof, walked on my awning to get from one side to the other side. He dented my awning! I contacted the company several times on this issues. Two sets of people came out to try and repair the awning and did more damage. The last crew said that they would notify the office to replace the awning. The office contacting me and said they would not be replacing or correcting this issue and then later emailed me correspondence indicating that my case has not been closed with out my issue resolved. I contacted the office, left several messages with the customer service rep and she abruptly told me that regardless of what had taken place, I was still responsible for my bill on my roof. I never missed a payment, had no intent on doing so, and I told the representative exactly this! One problem has nothing to do with the other, I'm highly upset and agitated to know that people run businesses like this. They don't honor what they say and I feel like because I am a senior, that this company is trying to take advantage of me. I am going to send my information to channel *** to investigate this company and they poor way that they handle business. I just want my awning fixed. I like for my stuff to be in tact. I keep my property of proudly and I don't like to feel like I am a victim of circumstance. Please help me to resolve this matter. Your assistance in this issue is truly needed

Desired Outcome

I just want my awning repaied by an experienced person/s or replaced since this company damaged it.

ReNew Home Designs Response • Mar 04, 2019

We thank Ms. for her business. With that said, the awning that Ms. is referring to is on a part of the home that we have no need whatsoever to be on top of while we were installing her roof. We had excellent access to her roof and did not walk on this awning as part of the installation. In fact, I have attached a picture showing how the roof cannot be reached from this awning. Ms. called in and told the owner that during the installation process we were walking on her awning and that the resulting damage was allowing water to drip through the awning itself. As a matter of good business, we let her know that we would sent a technician out to stop the water from dripping through the awning.

We were very up front about the fact that its an old metal awning and not in good shape. These thin metal awnings can be easily damaged by almost anything. Ms ***, said that she understood and all she wanted was the hole allowing water to be "plugged" so that it would no longer allow water through. We thought this was reasonable and sent a technician out at no charge.

At this point I want to address the statement that anyone was less than professional at our office. There is no excuse for that and the owner addressed the entire phone department to make sure every customer communication lives up the ReNew standard of customer service excellence. We thank Ms. for pointing this out.

Back to the awning. In the attached picture (which is dated from 2012 on google street view) you can clearly see that 7 years ago the awning already had areas of discoloration and what appeared to be dents. We sincerely want Ms. to be happy. Her roof is under warranty for a very long time and she has not had a problem despite an extremely cold, windy and snowy winter. We cannot, however, buy her a new awning. We're happy to have another technician come by and take another look if Ms *** would like us to.

Shingles were installed misaligned. Pattern has not consistency.
Total bill as $19,800 with a $6,600.deposit.$13,200 payable on completion. My complaint: !. the shingles were not properly laid. 2. They no consistent pattern. 3. They do not lineup in any kind of order. Customer service will not return my calls. Sale Rep was Micheal Coleman. Contract date was 9-19-2018.To install Shingles 4-6 weeks from 9-19-2018. 1-2 days completion date. They began work Oct 8th on Oct 9th they completely ran out of shingles.
They reorder shingles and returned with the shingles and started installion again on Oct. 25th. I called for someone from Renew Design to come look at my roof. One of their Project Manager arrived after I pointed out the discrepancies. What he suggested was not even close to straighten that mess out.

s

Desired Outcome

I want it replaced and repaired.

ReNew Home Designs Response • Nov 19, 2018

We have been in contact with Mr. on a weekly basis. The shingle that Mr. and Mrs. selected is designed to mimic a natural material and not a uniform repeating pattern. We did send a representative to the customers residence and we believe reached a solution, however the service has been postponed due to weather. We are scheduled to return this Sat. the 17th and would like to opportunity to complete that service. Based on our conversation with Mr. today, he is in agreement with this course of action.

Customer Response • Nov 21, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
A representative from Renew Design came to my home Oct.25, 2018 and suggested placing a flashing in my roof valley's. Flashing will not fix the imperfections in the layout of the shingles. I called several times and left messages. The office representative said she would pass the messages on. I even sent Pictures on Oct. 24 and Oct. 29 to Mr. C the salesman and the Office Manager. I received a call from Renew Design on Nov. 9. that they would be at my home Nov. 14.On Nov. 13 they called to cancel. Nov. 17th Renew called again to say they would be to my home Nov. 20 with shingles and flashing. And would I leave my garage open in case I had to leave out. Josh a "project manager"and two men arrived. I went ask how they were going to fix the roof and Josh told me that all he was suppose to do was install flashing. Hearing that I showed him all the misaligned shingles and the flashing was not going to do anything to correct the shingles. Shingles at the valley should be laid started at the valley not the opposite end. The
shingles that were misplaced need to be taken up and relaid. You can see it the whole length of the roof. It's obvious to me the mistake is clear to see. I know the patterns are made to be random. This look like an example of "what not to do when laying shingles"

My roof has had minor issues since I bought my house, and the gutters were a mess. The roof started leaking due to a broken board, so I began the process of looking for quote. Amidst the slew of high rated businesses that couldn't be bothered to answer their phones, return calls, or return emails, Renew stood out right from the start. Someone was available every time I called, and they scheduled my consultation the same day of my first call!

Ivan B was courteous, knowledgeable, and profession at every step. He came prepared not only with the materials and sales info, but with a stack of Renew's credentials, awards, and positive ratings. I texted or emailed him later with follow up questions multiple times, and he always replied within minutes courteously and earnestly. I honestly was not prepared to sign a contract that first night - I only had one previous quotation, had more scheduled, and wanted time to make the right decision. Ivan knew he was offering the best product, service, and pricing, however. He knew I wouldn't change my mind after doing my diligence, so he offered me a week to back out of the contract with no penalties or questions asked if I chose to - I signed. I made other appointments, did more research, and realized within a couple days I was already signed up with the right company.

Renew is a GAF Master Elite certified roofer, able to offer GAF's golden pledge warranty. While all of the other companies were offering 50 year materials and backing them with 10-15 year warranties on the labor (one even said in case it wasn't installed properly!), Renew has the standing and training to back the project for the full 50 years. They'll even transfer the full warranty once if the home is sold. To top it all off, to my amazement, Renew's pricing was also considerably lower than the others. GAF's warranties, including the Golden Pledge, are listed on their website - the difference that Master Elite certification makes is amazing.

It's been a rainy year, a hurricane was heading for the coast as all this was happening, and I was worried that the timeline on the project would be delayed. I signed the contract on a Wednesday, and the crew was at my house the following Friday (a week and a half later) to start work. These guys hustled - they were disciplined, careful, and skilled at their jobs. They laid tarps and took precautions to protect the house and surroundings, and made steady progress. They replaced all of the damaged boards on the roof, and finished everything but the ridge and vent caps on day one. They even replaced all of the existing roof vents, and added a new ridge vent. The following day (Saturday), one of their supervisors came out personally to finish the job. He worked meticulously, and spent the entire day finishing the job. It seems so mundane, but it's beautiful to see people treat their job as a work of art, and they did a wonderful job on my normal little house.

The gutters were scheduled three weeks later. Crews dropped off the materials the night before, and they showed up on time to do the work. I expected the gutters to be the easy afterthought, but again, these guys hustled and took the entire day on the project. They stripped the old gutters and fascia board completely, and did a great job installing the new components. They added a downspout to address flooding issues on one side, put leaf guards the entire way around the house (which is HUGE since I have a big old maple tree right behind the house), and even went out of their way to buy some matching downspout extensions for the downspouts when I asked them not to tie into my dysfunctional weeping system.

I feel that Renew is the personification of what people are looking for when they come to the Revdex.com with a project in mind, and I am happy to say that this is where I found them. I felt like a VIP in every dealing, and just can't find enough good things to say.
