I was going to buy a car from Renaissance Auto Network car dealership, it was a 2018 Buick regal, when I got there I took the car for a test drive liked the car decided to buy, I was already approved threw *** before I went there and had explained this to them and was told great come up not a problem but when we sat down to work out the deal the sales person *** tried to get me to go threw other banks for the loan and I told him no he said ok and then told me I had to go to another dealer to sign the paperwork for the car I thought it was strange but said ok and drove to *** when I got there I knew something was up because the salesman *** asked me how much I wanted to pay a month I told him I already knew how much everything was because I was already approved and had my apr, down payment, and 60 month term price he latter came back with a much higher price I told him it wasn't correct he left and came back a couple minutes later and said that the price included a 26500 warranty, I then told him I wasn't buying a warranty for the car because it still had the original factory warranty, he left and came back and told me if I do not buy the warranty they would not sell me the car because they wasnt making any money on it I stood up and walked out the door and called *** at Renaissance Auto Network and asked him what was going on and he told me "they never did that before usually they just make us give them $500 to run your *** application threw them because we are not affiliated with ***, then we sign the car over to them and they sell it to you and give us the rest of the money" I hung up on him at that point and called *** to report both dealerships for fraud. then I look at my credit report and I have 2 hard inquiries threw Renaissance Auto Network , and 2 hard inquiries from *** for the exact same car indicating both places owned the car
