We are so glad we bought a Remington Home My husband and I looked at over homes before we found the one we purchased from Remington We have lived in our home for three weeks now and absolutely love it Before purchasing our home we found a place in the back where some lapboard was broken We brought it to the attention of the builder's realtor and the next day their contractor met with my husband and went over the house with a fine tooth comb He fixed to lapboard and was very professional and courteous It was clear that this company cared that we were 100% satisfied with the condition of the new construction home before we moved in Our home is well constructed as well as beautiful Another bonus is that this company services their own first year home warranty If anything does go wrong in the first year the same company that built our home will come right out and fix the issue, rather than sending a third party vendor I cannot recommend Daryl Bresson, the builder, and his company Remington LLC highly enough

We recently purchased a home (within 2 years) and have had several BIG problems pop up. The team at Remington Homes was very slow to react to all of these problems and actually argued with me over email and phone about how it was not their fault.

1. plumbing was contracted poorly and obviously not tested
2. showers creaked a lot, water got underneath the tubs during construction
3. dryer ventilation choice was very risky/almost impossible to clean
4. insulation in attic was not done properly
5. the walk through lead person did not know much about the layout of the house, areas of interest, things to watch for, basic info expected to be known

We realized the risks when buying, but we also were led to believe that the seller would be responsible enough to check on the work and verify that it was done to a higher standard than what we have witnessed to date.

When building a house and trying to sell it for around 300k, you expect a certain amount of quality. We will never buy from them again, and regret the purchase.
